I double click maplestory, the screen goes black. Wizet’s little arrow flies to the corner, and my loading page is up. I type in my password, the secret combination that acts as a block to all invaders towards my account. I slide my mouse calmly over to the login button. Tap. There goes my computer. A blue screen pops up. My eyes read over the message; “Windows has encountered an error, and has shut down to prevent any damage.”. Shock, pure horror. “What am I to do?” I think. I restart my computer, and try again. Same thing.

Every day, I try, 10 times or more, to log onto maplestory, and it just crashes like that. There’s nothing I can do to stop it. I’ve done everything that I can do.

I’ve done a System Restore. I’ve reinstalled maplestory, I’ve deleted the GameGuard folder. I’ve reinstalled my drivers. I’ve done a rollback. I’ve recieved countless errors and destroyed half my computer, and I STILL can’t play. It goes beyond annoying, and I have no way of stopping it.

I can’t reinstall windows, my mom doesn’t think that maplestory is a good enough reason too, if its the only thing thats broken. So here I am now, with a broken maplestory, unable to play. Out of contact of a ton of friends. Angered, annoyed, and upset, I hang my head low, and say “There’s nothing left for me to do.”

Now I must walk away from Maplestory, the game I worked so hard on, spent so much time on. The game where I met people, enjoyed and spent time with them, made friends, lost some. Watched hackers hack, and noobs be nooby. Gave, asked, and repayed meso. Collected, sold, bought, traded items. Many, many, many more things. Now, its gone, and for what? For the simple fact that my computer believes that maplestory is corrupt.

So, I guess this is goodbye..maplestory.
