Hi to all I’m here to bring some news =D!

As you readed the tittle Maple Story is getting it’s own anime =P

Anime New Service said: “11-9-06 (7:00AM EDT)—- Madhouse To Animate Maple Story
Japan’s Madhouse animation studio will take charge of creating an animated adaptation of Nexon Japan’s popular online MMORPG Maple Story. The online game first beta tested in Japan in August 2003 and today claims 1.4 million memberships there, mostly made up of those in their teens. The free, 2D, side-scrolling MMORPG boasts several versions of the game available for specific countries or regions and an estimated 50 million players have participated in all of its versions to date. No further details are available although Nexon Japan does mention they hope to telecast the animation in each country where the game is available in the future.

Ooooh, *drools with anticipation and glues eyes to screen of computer then drool glitches up monitor and eyeballs are shocked which knocks me over me seat and I roll into the wall and get up and smack my head on knob of closet door and kick door down which falls outward crushing me then computer starts on fire from sparks made from drool and computer and closet door starts on fire with me under it then I get up and stub toe on chair near computer desk and trip which then makes me smack my head on the corner of the couch which others can sit on while watching person on computer* To make a along story short, I got many owies, my computer is in bad condition, and my house burned down. I’m gonna get grounded for that D:

  6. OMG I LOVE ANIME!

    I can’t wait to watch a subbed Japanese version of this on YouTube because those are ALWAYS better than anything dubbed in English.

    I also wonder what the storyline would be, BETTER BE GOOD!

  8. I just hope they make it something with a plot.

    It’d be AMAZING if they actually had story lines, characters with personality and background, character developement, and GASP BLOOD AND VIOLENCE
    (Heck, even some proportion in the art would be insanely cool)

    But the dang truth is. . .
    It’ll probably be some child’s anime. Filled with cute chibis.
    You know, the kind where there’s no real story. . .
    Filled with Mary Sue’s and the wanna be heroes. . .
    And of course, more than three seasons.

    I guess we’ll see.

    I want to see how that comes out. I am usually doubtful when a video game becomes a TV show or Movie or visa-versa (power rangers) but I want to see how it turns out.

  15. ragnarok the animation i saw it like 2 years ago i think. Or. . . it was 1 year ago. . . I’m not sure but I do know that i saw it a really long time ago.

  27. I’m praying it does not give MapleStory a bad reputation. Like, if it was all kidy and stupid like Zatch Bell, then it would kinda be harder to play MS on the computer if it’s a kid show.
    But the message did say most of the population of MapleStory was teens, so mabey they will make it a bit like .Hack//Sign?

  32. i saw the pictures of it, it SUCKS, bad, they make maple story look like a bad game. its like some cheap animation that looked like no effort was put in it and the main char looks wierd, they could of made it look cool, but it sucks, unfortunantely. *sigh
