This is the guide that I used and it’s working out very well.
From levels 1-30 you can use bows or crossbows, it only matters when you get your second job.
*Training Places*
1-10 Maple Island or you can got and trin near victoria at level 8.
10-15 henesys hunting grounds 1,2, and 3 are pretty good palces.(10-12 hunting ground 1, 12-14 hunting ground 2, 14-15/16 hunting ground 3.
15-17/18 The tree that grew 1
17/18-21 Tree dungeon forest up north V (5) A lot of people don’t know the location of this map. Heres where to go: First go to Ellinea, then take the top portal to the feild up north of Ellinea. Then go into the portal which takes you to the tree that grew 1. Go into the next portal and you will be at forest north of Ellinea. When you arrive there, walk left until you see an entrance with no portal. The passage has no monsters. Go all the way up. Then get out via the top exit. When getting out, climb the nearest rope. Then climb the rope on the right and enter the nearest entrance which will be Tree dungeon forest up north 5.
21-31 Kerning City Party Quest (PQ).
31-32 Land of the wild boar 1.
32-33 Leattys.
33-34 Dark leattys.
34-35 Ludibrium quests and Ratz and Black Ratz.
The reason for the multiple training spot changes is because training with a higher level could get boring if you keep training for more than a level. This strategy will keep you at a fair rate of leveling and keep you not bored with your training.
35-51 Ludibrium Party Quest (PQ)
51-52 Omega Sector quests and when you finish the quests, if you haven’t leveled yet, Plateons at Plateon feild which is a hidden street found by pressing up on the destroyed space vehicle in the lower valley.
52-53 Plateon feild.
53-54 Defeat Monsters. You can train on the Mecateons and also the MT-09’s when they show up for even more expereince.
54-55 Watch out for icey path 1.
55-60/65 Forest of dead trees 1,2,3,4. You power level from coolie zombies but it’s your choice to decide to stop at 60 if the cash rate isn’t high enough or if you’ve gotten bored, or to continue training on the best things until level 65.
60-65 Cold feild 1,2
65-70 Ice valley 1,2
The rest is up to you.
*Stat Destribution*
When you start your Crossbowman, try to have one of these rolls.
Str:anything
Dex:anything
Int:4/5
Luk:4/5
Your stats must follow the following stat guide.
Your str is supposed to equal your level. (e.g. level 49, str 49/ level 26, str 26)
Then you put the rest of the skills on Dex.
So basically when your are level 10, your Str is supposed to be 10, your Dex is supposed to be 52 (assuming you rolled perfect stats). When you are level 20, you must have 20 Str and Dex 92.
*Skill Destribution*
Lvl 10 +1 Arrow Blow
Lvl 11 +3 The Blessing of Amazon
Lvl 12 +3 The Eye of Amazon
Lvl 13 +3 The Eye of Amazon

Now, you get to choose if you want to master Crossbow Booster first, Soul Arrow first, or grow them together.
Personally I would master Crossbow Booster first because it makes more of a difference. More points on Soul arrow would only increase how long it would last, and pressing one button and wasting 15 MP everytime is something you could give up for a faster crossbow.

Lvl 53 +3 Crossbow Booster
Lvl 54 +3 Crossbow Booster
Lvl 55 +2 Crossbow Booster (maxed) +1 Soul Arrow

Lvl 68 +3 Focus
Lvl 69 +3 Focus
Lvl 70 +2 Focus (maxed) +1 The Blessing of Amazon
The reason why i suggest not to grow Final Attack is becaus it doesn’t work with most third job skills, and it could waste MP or arrows if you killed the monster on the first hit and Final Attack kicks in. Most people also use the same reasons not to grow Final Attack.
This is my guide for a Crossbowman. I made it up myself. I didn’t follow a guide for my Crossbowman, I used this one. I just don’t like the fact that you don’t get to max out Iron Arrow first and I get bored using the same skills over agian so I thought that growing a new attacking skill would make training easier, and more fun and it did.
Happy Mapling with your new Crossbowman!

wouldnt this result in slow levelling? and also, double arrow means more damage compared to arrow blow
at lvl 30, i would say you max mastery first, put 1-3 in soul arrow and like 6 in booster. After that, i would go iron arrow and FA at the same time
tthis guide is for lazy people who want to level the slower way but so they won’t get bored
but who really wants to level slow?
the ones who if they stay in the same place to level fast, will get bored and will quit maple out of boredom
