Okie time for another one of my rants.

Ever since the cashshop opened, I’ve nagged my boyfriend to donate at least every 3 months, when my cash items expire, mainly because, 1) I’m obssesed with the pets; 2)The items are cute and 3) but not least, I really believe that donating to Wizet (yes it’s a donation, you might be “buying” the cash money, but you’re not buying something tangible) might give then the resources to get more servers and make the game more enjoyable (who knows maybe one day they’ll fix it so we can actually move our characters to less crowded servers *crosses fingers* it’ll help Scania for sure!)

When the cash shop was opened, i bought 1 item. It was an ugly item, the cat hat and i had it until it expired. Suddenly the cash shop started getting better and nicer items, and my obssesion: pets!!!

So of course since they had better items (and pets) i decided to get a brown kitty and it’s accesories, and while i was at it decided to get some new nice clothes…. then it started. It didn’t take too long for me to start getting the dreaded question:” Do you sell NX Cash?” that question ranks a close second with “CC pl0x” in the annoyance meter. Every five seconds I see the message “Trading NX items for in game items is a bannable offense” or something along the lines, but more often when that line appears I’m getting a trade invite, a chat invite or a whisper from noobie McNoob asking “Do you sell NX cash?”

Now, don’t get me wrong, I do understand there are people that sell NX cash, Some of my MS friends buy NX cash for mesos, However none of them go to random people, and in a very rude manner ask if they will get them cash. They do know that the risk of cash for mesos trading is really high. If you give the mesos first you run the risk of the people dissapearing on you with your hard earned million mesos and if you decide to give the nx first you run the risk of losing your hard earned irl money to some loser that can log off, get on his other character and enjoy their nx while you cry your eyes out. Since the risk is so high, They only ask people they trust, So as to why a random person who i’ve never talked to believes that I would take such a risk, of 1) losing my irl money so they can have pixelated items, 2) that I would get my account, which i have worked so hard for, banned just to get them NX cash is beyond me.

To close this rant I will tell you an anecdote: A couple of weeks ago, a user that I considered “nice and fiable” decided he wanted NX Cash and sent me a conversation invite. He asked me to sell him cash, to wish I of course declined, after hours of numbering the reasons I didn’t want to donate in his name, he finally got the hint and left me alone. 2 days later, while training on land of the boar, I read 2 megaphone messages, by two diferent users: “Please report Odemode for NX Cash Scam”. It seems my “nice and fiable” user had scammed 2 users out of 30k NX Cash. When I confronted him, his niceness was nowhere to be found. Needless to say this user is no longer on my friendlist, since i do not wish to be associated with scammers of any kind.
