After the first few days, my to be Fizard has gained quite a few levels, up to 16 currently. I still feel that I am leveling at a snail’s pace, probably thanks to the fact that I get distracted too easily, by things such as MMOTales. [Screenshot 1, Leveling Up]
But that is of little importance. Let me start from the beginning. Finishing up the quests at Maple Island, I get some awesome rewards: a +30 HP/3 WDEF hat, and a yellow work glove (+1 INT, Lv 10+)! I was happy that I got the work glove from such an easy quest. You only have to kill 5 green, 5 blue and 5 red snails. Unfortunatly, it is a Maple Island exclusive quest, as is the 30 HP hat. However, the second I stepped off Maple Island, my troubles began. I left Maple Island with only 1700 mesos, and I couldn’t afford a wand. In the end, I NPCed a few ores to buy a wand. I already had 30 blue potions and 100 red potions, courtesy of some Maple Island quests. (*Which may be Maple Sea exclusive*)
I trained on slimes initially. But it didn’t take long to realize how quickly I lost money. I was gaining an average of only 40% of the money I spent only on pots. I literally had to beg for money, with hardly any luck. Most of my very limited funding came from my friend, Suushie, who spent several hours a day begging for mesos.
As I slowly added magic claw, I left for Henesys Hunting Grounds to train on orange mushrooms. But there was a huge crowd of people when I got there, in every channel. KSing was utterly unbelievable. The sheer lag that I experienced here was quite incomparable to any other lag I’ve seen in Maple Sea. The only real lag I’ve actually seen was slowed pick up rate, and some people moving; while in fact, they are actually a few steps ahead of what I can see. This lag- This lag was the Scania reminiscent lag. Shouts of everything, from “cc pls” (Change channels please), to “trading fame la”,” to pt me”! (Party me) came at me. It was probably making me lag even more.
At least my spirits were raised when I saw someone with a particularly interesting haircut. [Screenshot 4, The Bad Hair Day]
Now I am in a desperate situation. Training on orange mushrooms in rush hour traffic seems out of question. (That is exactly why I am writing this blog now). I lose ~ 65% of the money I spend on potions. I really, really, must get out of this meso losing glut before it spirals me down into oblivion. [Screenshot 5, Situation Critical!]
Special thanks to Fenrir for donating 10k to me. ^_^
Wow, Very little money you got there,
Well a small tip that i got of a friend when he was making a mage, he is quite rich now, is not to use potions like mad but use the chair to heal and also train at less populated maps, even if it means crappier spawn etc.
Well good luck!
The guy with the wierd hair looks like Jiraiya from Naruto o_O
What’s your IGN?
Is it Muldrich?
Or something?
Can you play now?
=D
@ TuxedoHobo: Thanks, I’ll try that.
@ Quang13: Eh, I don’t watch Naruto. At least not on a frequent basis >_<
@ Fenrir: My IGN is Maldrich, from Silver’s story: Aurora’s Redemption. ^_^
You in Aquila? My ign is V3rbose and verbose but I don’t play very often nowadays.
I’ll add them anyway, my buddy list is near completely empty.
I don’t usually play my Aquila character, MDarkDragoon (in my MMOid). But if you want, you can add me.
If you play from the other side of the world from South-East Asia, You shouldn’t have a problem with crowded places. We Asians rarely play throughout the night.
Add meh.
FenrirXE, or I think you did. . .?
*poke* Use the CHAIR. :X Especially since you’re a mage. The chair is one thing to help you save on the mesos. Unless you are trying to ‘chiong’ the levels. Yeah.
@Destiny:
You wanna bet? XD
