The Final Sacrifice

I’ve had enough of hackers and temptation, as well as they immature community and such. This is why I choose to do what I thought before as unthinkable. I will pool all my money into refunding my sin with a massive scrolling project that will decide the fate of my sin, and my Maple Story – Forever.

If I deem the project successful (it is all luck) then I will continue my sin in Bera, while spending the majority of my time playing Flyff. I will start Flyff presumably as soon as I upgrade my computer.

If the project is a failure, I will not grieve, cry or hide in self pity. I care not for how it ends, because I can see a dark shadow looming over this project.

Yet I have hope. If I can pull this through, with about 40 M mesos then I believe I will continue my sin when I’m taking a break from Flyff. I deem complete success as W.ATK (claw + glove + stars) as 70 or more, and at least 68 as passing.

The plan is to spend about 3 M or less on stars, and as much as it costs to get a 5 attack glove. The Slain is the true test. I aim for 44 attack, which is beyond insanity considering my meager supply of mesos. I’ve calculated that if I get 1 10% on a 29 attack Slain, and I continue with 60%s all the way, it is possible. But it is far more likely to go down in flames.

This is the endgame for my Maple Story.

Bask in glory, or drown in flames.

    Thank you, O Sapphire One.

    No offense meant.”

No offense taken. I actually smile upon this comment. This gives me motivation to shatter these thoughts and actually succeed. Not that there will be any real harm in failing, either.

  2. You like taking risks, don’t you? 😀

Lots of luck, Epic One. 😉
(Heck, that sounds so GRAND that I must use it.)

Lol at my new name. I do like to take acceptable risks – in a game. Not in real life. I don’t really mind if it all fails, I did something like this 3-4 times already, and I got good results.

  4. *falls and worship Epic One* Hehe. Absolutely fitting, Epic One.

I don’t even bother (or rather, I don’t dare) to take risks in a game, because I mind too much and haven’t gotten anything nice. XD Nice, boring and safe for me!

  5. *Falls to worship the Silver One*

Take risks! Your dark side commands you! xD

But really, I’ve probably used more scrolls then most of the MMOTales community. I seem to always use expensive scrolls. I can’t get away from the awesome temptation. But I always end of failing and losing in one way, usually because of lack of experience and good judgment. Heck, if someone was willing to risk a fortune in a attempt to prove something or get rich, I’d even write a guide on scrolling.

  6. *Falls over Epic One and Silver One, while they are worshipping each other*

One scroll a day = Paydaaaayyy

    =x

    10% = ENEMY

60% = Go for it =x [If you want to .]

    100% = Harmless and useless .

  7. Hah. Risks is a good way to make success. It is also gambling, so don’t get carried away with taking risks.

  8. Are you sure when you fail, that you would NEVER see play MapleStory again?

There are possibilities you know. . .
