The experience that zombies, especially the famous coolie zombies give is legendary. Anyone who is able to kill them in between 1-3 hits should train there, and many do so until the high 7X. However, the 4 maps and 20 channels doesn’t seem to be enough. There are always over 80 people there. Sharing channels doesn’t always seem to be a good idea, because all party members have to contribute evenly, and you can not go afk or talk a lot. However, swapping good party skills such as Haste, Rage, and Holy Symbol is always worth it.

The 90 minute timer at the top is worthless. All you have to do to bypass it is to change channels, then change back, or go out of the map and come back in. Wizet didn’t help by making the maps smaller, either.

Most people who go to coolies are courteous enough to change channels when they see someone else there, or at least party so that they won’t have to go KS each other. However, I can’t stand the people who come to your channel and go “CC PLZ” and go KS you because they are stronger than you. Anyone who is strong enough should be able to hold their own channel at coolies, and do not need other to KS them.

Partying has many difficulties at coolies. Although you can share good skills, people tend to go afk or talk a lot while in a party, resulting in lost exp, money, and time. Also, the spawn at Z1-4 is good enough, having more members tend to make people have to walk more, or “KS” each other because there aren’t enough zombies to pass around.

The worst part of coolies, however is the KS war. It happens all the damned time, and its getting on my nerves. Simple misunderstandings cause large KS wars. For example, today, I found a channel where people were afk. I went down to train, and later the afkers CCed. After just a few minutes, this level 55 Ice Mage, who was obviously not doing enough damage to train on coolies, because it always takes her 4-5 hits to kill one. After she wouldn’t change channels on sight, I quickly told her to Change channels, not unkindly. However, she wouldn’t and I had to follow her around to steal her kills, defending my channel. She then called her buddy over, a level 65 HA Cleric. I had big problems dealing with the cleric, because she could spam telecast with HA, but I wouldn’t give up so easily. In addition, they used weak logic to try to make me change channels. They said the Ice Mage was there first, but I checked the entire map by scouting and with the minimap. There was no one, and if you leave the map or go afk at Zombies, then you lose the map, unless no one comes.

However, that was all shattered when the cleric called a 7X Chief Bandit and a 7X Crusader, which all partied. In desperation, I tried to fight back, but in vain. Then, out of frustration, I admit that I contemplated defaming the Ice Mage and leaving, but it was just too foolish, and that mage already had over 300 fame, not like one fame would make a difference. I’d also likely get Super Megaed to get mass defamed, so I thought better of it and just left.

Moral: Make sure that you are polite at Coolies, and don’t just go KS. Change channels when you see others. Don’t annoy them or tarry. This should apply to all highly populated solo maps.

However, kill stealing has its own definitions. Some people believe that it is right to defend their own channels (such as myself), while others think that if you kill steal others, even in self defense; you are as bad as the person who invaded your channel.
