I see that many people don’t read my stories because the last few were sucky. Please read on, because it will get more interesting. Anyways, CHAPTER 9!

EDEN

Chapter 9: Sleepwalker

Duncan and Abuban was running as fast as they could, searching everywhere. Then a few guards appeared in front of them. “Halt!” One of them said and raised his hand.

Guard: “No running in the royal courts!”

Abuban: “Sorry, we’re new here.”

Guard: “Go play outside boy, we’re on break.”

Abuban: “Yes sir.”

The guards left them and they let out a sigh of relief.

“Whew, these disguises are good!” Said Duncan. “Not now, I think the guards gave us a clue.” Said Abuban, thinking.

Abuban: “Lets say that they’re going to execute Coma.

Duncan: “Thats a horrible thought! Don’t think like that!”

Abuban: “No, I mean lets say they are. Would they do it inside a room or something?”

Duncan: “Well, the rooms here are big enough to hold a crowd…”

Abuban: “But they would normally take places outside, right?”

Duncan: “Yeah, I guess so.”

“Then follow me.” Said Abuban, and ran. Duncan followed. Then there was a board with a map stuck to it. There were a few outdoor places in the map. “Dang! I wish there was only one place we need to visit! Lets go check out the ‘Playing Field’ first.

Meanwhile, Coma was having the fight of her life with her brother. The two Caravelas clashed and made sparks. But with the advantage of the Amulet, Panic was winning.

Terra: “You evil little cockroach! Let us go!”

Panic: “Hey, I’m not evil. Everyone craves power. Don’t be jealous ‘cuz I got tons!”

Everyone was sarcastically laughing.

Asmodious: “Yeah right, you sold your soul to the dark one, like thats not evil, calling your self god in the face of the creator is the evilest thing you did!”

Coma waasn’t talking, but hearing every bit of this. ‘The dark one?’ She thought. She swung her sword but the strike was canceled. “Give up! You have no chance of winning.” Panic made a dark smile on his evil face. “Think again!” What looked like two guards ran to the centre of the playing field. “I said, no guards aloud in this area! You’ll be punished dearly after this!” Panic cursed, and continued fighting. They took off their helms and true identity was revealed. Of course, the Lee brothers and Mazurka was watching.

Mazurka: “What the hell? You’re alive!?”

Panic: “I thought you killed them!”

Mazurka: “I thought I did too my lord! No one can survive Lightning Spear!”

Asmodius: “I can….. A million times.”

Mazurka: “Not you! Out of those four!”

Karon: “You can’t kill people that has great determinations easily.”

Coma: “Sweet! You’re alive! Now help us get outta here!”

Panic: “Finish your job!”

Soon a major battle began.

Abuban jumped onto the balcony where Terra was. He freed her, and she joined the fight as well.

“I’ll take Panic, Duncan, you take Mazurka,” “I was going to do it even if you didn’t ask.” Duncan interupted. “Terra and Abuban take the Lee’s!” Coma finished.

Duncan lied down and closed his eyes and started sleeping.

Coma: “What are you doing! Get up and fight before he kills you!”

Duncan: “I become more powerful when I sleep.”

Coma: “I don’t get it.”

She turned around and blocked the strike from Panic. “Power Guard!” She yelled, and her physical defence was increased.

“Thats the Sandman’s son.” The people watching whispered. “Remember Sandman? He was so powerful that he had to be killed. With that kid, Panic loses.” But noone on the battlefield heard that.

Soon, Duncan stood up, but he was still sleeping. A strange blue aura was surrounding him. He raised his bow and said. “Sleep has no limits now die! Á×¾î¶ó!” He fired a mortal blow at Mazurka. He struck him and blew him back a several metres. “How the hell… That skill was way above his level!” Mazurka fired a Elemental Composition made of Ice and Lightning. It went through Duncan. “No…. How could..” Duncan summoned a Silver Hawk that swooped down and finished Mazurka. Parylized, but not dead. Then he was awoke and powerless.

Coma: “How’d you do that!?”

Duncan: “I figured it out. Not sure how it works thought.

Meanwhile, Coma was fighting Panic. “Just give it up! It’s a waste of time for both of us.” Panic said, panting. “Atleast I’ll take you out with me!” Coma said, not giving up.

At another area, a two vs. two was happening against the Lee brothers and Abuban, Terra. The Lee brothers had perfect sync. and were much more stronger than last time. “You couldn’t beat us. Only because of the Goddess. But she’s not here, so you die!” Crow Lee maniacly screamed.

Terra fired a Holy Arrow at one of the Lee’s heart. It missed. “Did I do a bad job?” She asked. “Nah, these guys are unnaturally fast.” Lee’s threw more stars and Abuban blocked the assualts, then Terra shot another Holy Arrow at the Lee’s. It hit. Ignoring the pain, he didn’t say anything. He was evil. It hurt more than usual. “I’m not used to fighting.” She said, smiling. “Don’t talk right now. It’s dangerous.” Abuban reminded her.

Coma was still fighting Panic. They swords were almost never exposed to the flesh, their skills were equal. “Just give it up! I don’t want to see my own kin die!” He scorned Coma’s stubborness. She was shocked. A evil bastard like him not wanting to see her die? “Fine, I get you. You can die a warrior’s death.” He said, and he charged up his combo slots. Quickly, he used Panic. The power of the blow flinched Coma, making her raise her hands in the air. Then quickly, he used another Panic. Normally, this would have been impossible because you can only use 1 Panic per 5 combo slots. But this wasn’t normal. It was the Divine Unity Panic. Focusing all his wrath into one section of his blade, he hacked Coma. She flew back several metres, and blood was pouring out of her like out of a fountain. Where he hit her, there was a huge crack, diagonally. Luckily, it didn’t hit her heart.

Abuban, Terra, Duncan: “COMA!!”

It turned the whole crowd’s attention there.

“No….. I can’t lose…” She muttered these words stubbornly and rose. She fell down again because the blow could have ripped her in half.

Then a strange mutation began. Coma started growing snow white wings from her back. Her scars were healed and blood gone.

Coma: “WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO ME!! WHY AM I GROWING WINGS! AHHH!!”

The pain of the wings growing on her back made her tremble, and she was shocked. The wings weren’t really big, but covered her back like a Icarus Cape. “The wings of God….” Panic said. “That’s bad.”

Everyone was in shock except Panic, Asmodious and Karon. “Meh, don’t worry, it’s all part of being God.” Asmodious shouted loud so she could hear him. She didn’t understand all the freak and this…. destiny of some sort. She was ultra-confused. Terra and Abuban and Duncan ran to her. “You okay?!” Said Terra. “I didn’t know you could grow wings,” Duncan said. “Wait, our combat isn’t finished yet!” The Lee’s said. But they were surprised too. “I don’t know about these wings, but I feel better and stronger. Now lets continue, brother.” Coma said, and charged at Panic. He also charged at her and the battle continued. The wings she grew were like wings of a butterfly, fragile and new. But why didn’t Panic grow wings? She asked herself. They were in the same family. But because of the fight ahead of her, she pushed these thoughts away and fought.

Then a quick thought emerged in her mind. “What if I use what Panic did to me?” She thought. It was a great stradegy and she thought it could work. She made 5 combo slots and got ready for Panic. She was going to use Coma, to break his guard, then use her special attack. Whatever it was. She wasn’t sure, but it was crazy enough to work. Then another thought stirred in her head. “Coma isn’t strong enough, Panic will have to do.” It wasn’t her favorite skill, but the only thing to break her brother’s guard.

Coma: “PANIC!!” She depleted all her combo slots and released a powerful blow with purple and green aura surrounding it. It certainly broke through her brother’s defence. Then letting her body do the rest, she unknowingly used the skill, Divine Trinity Coma. Three light-blue lights came out of her sword. One hit Panic and the other two hit the Lee brothers. Coma fell on the ground, far more than exhausted. Abuban was weak too, and Abuban and Terra carried them, and ran for their lives.

Panic, barely alive, weakly called the guards. “Don’t let them escape…” Then he fell on the ground, exhausted.

The watchers, not surprised, left the stage one by one.

Terra: “Where the hell are we supposed to go now!?”

Abuban: “I don’t know, I guess El Nath is the only place to go….”

Terra: “Then lets go! Any place is better than here!”

Abuban carried Coma, and Terra carried Duncan, and they left the castle. Dozens of guards were chasing them. Quickly, Abuban threw money on the ground. The guards stopped, and picked up the money. Slowly smiling, Abuban used the Meso Explosion. The money evaporated into shadows, and blow up on the guards. They were consumed by the black fires of the Meso Explosion.

“Greed kills…” Abuban said, and ran.

Asmodious met Adan after the ‘show’. “The sleepwalker’s son was there. You should’ve seen him. And oh yeah. Your son, Abubanite, thats his name right? He was there too.”
“My son was there?!” Adan’s face didn’t turn into a smile. “Why aren’t you smiling?” Asmodious asked him. “Because I feel sorry for him.”

[TIME SKIP 5 HOURS]

Soon, they were in El Nath, and all of them were more than tired. It was almost a whole day of fighting, but they weren’t hurt. Coma and Abuban were awoken, and her wings were still on her. “Arhgghgh! What are these things! They’re so annoying!” She said. “Never mind that, we escaped, alive!” Abuban said. “What happened to you at the Panic’s castle?” He asked Terra. Terra thought for a moment. She didn’t want to tell them that Panic was going to marry her. “He locked me in a room.” She said. “And when you were fighting him, he told me to come see you defeated.” She lied. “Anyways, I got some questions for Manji.”Coma said. “How do you even know if he’s in El Nath or not?” Said Abuban, speaking common sense. “He lives there.” Coma said, simply. “What if he moved?” Said Abuban. “I bet he didn’t.” Said Coma.

They looked around El Nath. It was a cold town, snow and ice everywhere. No snowstorms blew in the town, and the people were nice. “Lets go see if Manji’s still in his cave.” Siad Coma, and walked to where she used to live.

But there was noone there. Remnants of a burning campfire, some animal bones, it looked like it was never used for a few months, about the time when Coma left. “Thats strange, he must be in town then.” Coma said, and went back to town. They looked in every store, building. Manji wasn’t there. “We haven’t checked one place. The library.”

And yes indeed, Manji was at the library. “Why did you come back….” He asked coldly. “I need some answers. Since you trained and raised me, I haven’t asked any ‘stupid questions’. I’ve been holding my curiosity for 15 years! The past chapters were vague. Weird things ‘ve been happening to me. Tell me what I need. Now.” Coma said. Angrily. Manji did not say anything. Thrown in anger and hate, she raised her sword and slashed her old master. He quickly dodged it. His gloomy face turned into a vague smile. “I’ll tell you, but you won’t like it.” He said.

Manji: Your mother left you with me, because I was the most unknown of her followers. She could’ve left her with Adanite or Asmodious, they are powerful, but there would be lots of people wanting your blood, so she left you with me, only 7 people knew me. Adanite, Spardacus, Arthur, which is your father, Chunji, Minerva, which is your mother. and Tylus.

Coma: “Oh now you tell me my father’s name.”

Manji: “Anyways, ‘gods’ are supposed to grow angel wings when your 18. The Amulet stopped the growth of wings, because growing them is unhealthy.

Duncan: “I took your amulet back for you.”

He handed the Amulet to Coma. She held it in her hand, but didn’t wear it.

Coma: “Why is growing wings unhealthy?”

Manji: “They act as same the amulets, but decreases your life. You can actually die of age with wings.”

Coma: “Thanks for sharing. Now, whats with all this destiny stuff?!”

Manji: “Let me tell you one thing before that. Your mother and father are dead.

Coma: “What?! I don’t belive you!”

Manji: “Now I’ll tell your destiny. You are supposed to fight your brother, and for you, your supposed to win. Then you will take over this world as dictator and enslave the people and tax all the luxury out of them.”

Coma: “No… I don’t want to become like my brother!”

Manji: “One more thing. You are the older sibling.

Coma: “What!?”

Manji: “When you were two, your brother was born. Then when he was one, he had evil thoughts, thoughts for world domination. Then he sold his soul to the devil to have the mind and body of a 18-year-old. Then he seized power over people and took over the palace. Your mother was imprisoned, and father ran away, hiding his identity, becoming a normal farmer. They’re dead now. Oh, and don’t call yourself god. You’ll be punished by the great creator. He hates when your race calls themselves god. He is the only god, his name is unknown, but pray to him and listen, be friendly with him all times. Thats an important tip.

Coma: “Thanks for the tip but …….. I don’t belive this. I’m not going to be like my brother. Any other choises?”

Manji: “Think what you want. I told you wouldn’t like it. You can be a normal civilian, a traveller, a merchant, farmer, a movie star, much more. You can a follower too. Or, you can become a hacker. Just do what you want.”

Coma: “…. I’ll stop my brother, but I won’t rule the world. I’ll run away……”

Manji: “Then do it.”

Coma walked out of the library, and her friends followed. “Now I kinda understand now. I’ll stop my brother at all costs, but now we need to get stronger.” Said Coma.
