Well, after several failed attempts of passing the 4th stage due to a certain absence (coughlvl1-30cough), I’ve finally made it. There isn’t much between the 4th stage and Ergoth the ugly deceased-looking demon of a dead guy with a giant skull scepter.
King’s corridor: preparing for the battle.
Here is a giant pair of doors. Have one person take off the earrings and drop them on the door. This is called a sacrifice. The door should open. For those too weak to face what’s ahead, go the the small broken pillar next to the doors. That leads to an upper level of the next area.
Ergoth: The pain in my… well, everywhere.
Being a lvl 57 sin and all makes you feel pathetic when you’re facing a giant deceased thing. Especially when he has a few millions for HP and has four statues guarding him, each with a formidable amount of defense in every possible way, and each boasting 1 million HP.
Have your bravest men (recommended that these “brave” men be lvl 100+. Or at least 3rd job) enter the door. Have a few lvl 60s or 70s stay in the corner, some aid to take out a few nuisances. The rest head for the pillar with an opening. The room contains a throne, hence the name “Ergoth’s Throne”. Have a warrior smash the Rubian to pieces (the pretty jewel in the center of the throne). All others should step away from the throne. Ergoth, as well as his lion and knight statues, will spawn.
Oh, and on a side note, before you smash the jewel, some may notice the gargoyle perched on something above the throne.
Have all the strongest guildmates pummel at the statues and dead guy, while have the lesser ones crush the gargoyles that spawn into nothing. The lesser guildmates are not to meddle with the statues nor Ergoth, as they stand no chance. Trust me. As a lvl 57 sin, all I did was 1,1. 1,1. 1,1. and so on.
Anyone else who accidentally entered the door should stay in the far left area. It’s not attack-proof, but it is past the limit where the most lethal attacks hit. All that will go there would be gargoyles and a razor disc, which should only do 100-200s.
Several attacks that I have seen are:
-Razor discs- 100-200 dmg.
-Reaper strike- dmg unknown.
-Green swords- reduces HP+MP to 1.
-Electric shock- 3-4k dmg.
-Fire burst- 3-4k dmg. (?)
-Dispel- cancels out all support skills.
-Skill lock- disables ability to cast any non-passive spells/attacks.
-Gargoyle spawns- does the usual 300 dmg or so.
Here, is where I die.
…At least 5 times the first time I went to the throne.
Oh, and I also realized that some of my guildmates knows hacks. How I know? Well:
-One mate kept vaccing all the items to him.
-Another got pissed at Ergoth and turned on godmode.
-One didn’t get any damage during the laser jump quests.
That’s life for you.
By the way, that one with the godmode, the hack started glitching, and it failed, long enough for him do die. Pitiful, yet still funny.
Look, I had no idea they hacked till that moment. I just went along to see what lies ahead. Only to get beheaded.
What can I say? Curiosity killed the sin.
