OOS//Ok, after a LOOONG break, I’m finally returning to continuing the series i started on months ago >.< I’m still not too confident of my writing, so, bear with me O_O O_O//
“Oy, Nozuke…” Cruxius yelled. The mage stirred, whimpering in his robes. The comfort of sleep was too hard to leave. “Nozuke!” He yelled again, puling back his leg, kicking the clumped body on the ground . Nozuke yelped with pain as his side was bruised with the kick, making him jolt up, before collapsing again. “Watch it, Cruxius!” He mumbled, rubbing the bruise. Wait… What’s the weird feeling…? His eyes snapped open when his cheek met with something soft…and…freezing. Nozuke jerked up, blinking the stuff from his eyes. Snow?! Nozuke jumped to his feet, blinking several times, tryin gto make sure that it was true. He turned to see Cruxius leaning against the wall with a straight face, using the meba to chip away some ice from the walls. “You’re well versed in magic, I assume? If so, tell me, is there such magic as this; freezing your surroundings, that is…?” He asked, a frown slowly evident. Nozuke sighed. So, Cruxius was all better now? And now, he’s asking Nozuke a question neither of them knew? Nozuke strapped on the old raggedy cape, resting his right hand on his waist, frowning back at Cruxius. “And you expect me to know such advanced magic?” Cruxius sighed, forcing a chuckle. “I supposed so. Sorry.”
Tipping his head low, Cruxius, walked out of the alleyway, stars on the ready. Nozuke followed closely behind, gasping at the sight. The whole of Kerning City was covered in snow! Cruxius let out a low growl. “It’s obviously snowing here. But how; why? The only place that I know of in this world that snows is El Nath!” He stated, somewhat surprised. In front of them, there were more people travelling about, looking disoriented and shocked. “This might be the work of an Ice Wizard. But none has so much power…” Nozuke muttered, picking up a clump of snow from the ground. The streets of the City were almost unrecognisable. The maroon bricks were snow white, and the waters of the sewers of the Party Quest area froze into solid ice. Nozuke breathed only his bare palms, which seemed much thinner. “Whoever that done this,” Cruxius started, scratching his chin thoughtfully,”Is a very powerful Magician, a Magician for sure, and one that specialises in Ice Magic at that. That’s probably the case.” Nozuke nodded. Cruxius was suddenly wondering; where has the ame Masters gne? Such a big happening like this, and none of them are in sight? He started pacing up and down the walkway, leaving Nozuke doing complicated movements with his staff. Horror filled his face.
“Cruxius….my fire magic….” He stammered. Cruxius whirled around to look at the Wizard. “It doesn’t work anymore. So does my poison.” The Assassin shivered; he didn’t visit El Nath often, and was not used to the sudden change in climate. But something made Cruxius stare at Nozuke. Something that struck his mind.
“No Game Masters, and the magical powers of Fire and Poison Wizards not working…” He started, deep in thought. Nozuke tapped the staff on the ground, attempting to make his magic work. Cruxius clapped both fists together. “It was pure idiocy for me not to have thought of this sooner! This person…is a Hacker, one who opposes the Game Masters, and is a powerful Ice Wizard who holds Fire Wizards in utter contempt. It’s the most reasonable description of the person who caused this for now.”
OOS// Ok, I see a liiiiiittle plot twist O_O Still no fancy title… >.<//
