Hey all, again. I already wrote my chapter for the day, and I am DEFINETLY too lazy for another one, but here’s something else I’ve been meaning to do. Perhaps this’ll put enough of a handle on our good friend Shard that I can figure out where he’s going.

@ Indescane: Yeah, Shard was never really supposed to be evil, or crazy in the first place.. but he’s one of those characters that kinda gets out of control and then you don’t really have any say in how they develop. That ever happen do anybody else out there? I originally intended him to get plenty of exposure as a bad guy, but couldn’t find many places to do it… and it was always planned for him to change sides, but I was thinking more along the lines of him getting betrayed than him having his own ulterior motives. Meh, like I said, the nutter is out of control. xD I honestly don’t know what he’s going to do next.

@ iluvchocs: Nice to hear you’re enjoying yourself… just don’t let me distract you too much. *lol* As for Indescane’s last comment, she was referring to the way Grendel and Riella are calling up a few people, you won’t know what Grendel is up to for awhile, but I’m planning to introduce our late arrival Kytin soon –he’ll be important. On that note, do you know Indescane in real life? I noticed you’re both in Australia –just curious. You’re already a cool person in my opinion, but being a real life friend with Des is like +10 points of uber coolness. xD

Personality – Assuming the role of the cold dark antihero, Shard was formerly a member of the villainous XDarkStriders. He quit the guild and hastily made peace with the warrior Riella to chase his own motives instead. Preferring to work alone, he serves nothing and no one save himself and his own mysterious causes. Like the cruel rasp that comprises his voice, Shard is most similar metaphorically to the dagger he carries –violence with a purpose.
Motive(s) – Although Shard’s motivations are still somewhat unclear, he certainly appears to have enemies among the DarkStriders, and the intention to settle them. In addition, he appears to be somewhat uncaring as to whether he finishes his business with Blast, Riella, and Cross, old DarkStrider business, but he hasn’t necessarily made amends with the inflammatory young CrossSlash yet.
