Im probably going to leave the guild, and maybe even maple. I saw something horrible today, my best friend shunned me down in my time of need, my dad got pissed for doing something for my friend late at night for certain reasons. Marissa, who i trusted the most, let me down, real bad, i dont think she even knows how hard she pushed me away, im scarred emotionally.
This is serious, seong hates me (he said so himself), the friends i DO have in the guild dont remember my name. When i say im leaving people are actually HAPPY.
How can i survive? The maple world (which i call the matrix) is falling apart, i wish i never started… The problem with online friends is that you cant always see them, and eventually they quit, marissa has been there for me since…i was lvl 42, i know exactly how we met. How we talked, our conversation. I know everything that happened.
When i joined reckless i was somewhat not satisfyed. My previous guild was more active than reckless is today, and some people say its because im not on enough for the ‘events.’ When marissa held a meeting to decide div2, i started to think differently of the guild. Think this, what if the guild was broken up?
What happened to my previous guild? There was an issue, someone got hacked and blamed the leader for leaking his information. I still have the people that were the most active in my buddy list today. It had 100 members like Reckless and a div2. But the difference was that:
1. I was the most active Jr. Master and i was the one doing most of the recruiting, i brought our guild from 75 to 100.
2. People talked to me more and everyone knew my name, and i knew everyones name
3. We had more events that a lot of people can participate in and the leader always was there for us.
The only REAL similarity is that the guild sparks up more when seong/dylan (dylan was my previous guild leader) talks. But i still hold long conversations with my old guild, dylan just added a small spark. Marissa knows some people from the old guild like Ro, who was the lowest level.
ANYONE from Reckless can answer this: Is Seong/Pecan always there for you? No. I say this sadly but truthfully, and i dont care if seong kicks me today or not, I cannot decide that. In fact it will probably bring joy to the guild
the real points of this post… No one cares for me, the close friends i made dont, marissa doesnt, seong doesnt even know my name. Only guy who had a real long conversation with me was Bryan, and he’s barely on now.
If Seond opposes this post and kicks me, it shows what he really is if he cant see his own faults. And i know he isnt afk all the time but he is always slow to his responses and too busy “training”

And, uh, Seong/Dylan reminds me of that singer/actress Seline Delon or w/e. Just kinda sounds like it.
Aww, that sucks. But I mean, there are nice people, and there are jerks. It’s awesome when you meet the former (met a super-nice literate priest just the other day at Sakura Cellions), and stinks when you chance upon the latter. d: But that’s just the way it is, y’know? Don’t let the bad people get you down, try to move on.
When I feel like that, I just hit Esc-Up-Enter, then click ‘Quit’.
It works better than angsting over it.
It’s only a game. Like you said, the Matrix: nothing is quite real. Even now, when I’m actually quite crazy over my Maple buddies, I’m constantly reminded that this is nothing BUT a game. People who you can’t track down by other means disappear, people who you can’t reach out to IRL change and you can’t even beat them over the head for treating you and whatever friendship you had like crap.

Find a new guild, and then brag to those guys about how WOW super awesome fuge-coated amazing it is, and how you really don’t miss them at all.
That is, unless, you end up not sorting out the problem on your own, and they don’t try to fix it either, so you just enjoy being spitefull for the time being.

They just don’t know you because you joined right after you semi quited, be more active and they’ll know you, >.>
And, if you knew me well enough which you should, you’d know that I use sarcasm like 99.98% of the time.
I also don’t see why you expect all guilds to be as good as your old one.
Seong is afk because he has more important things to do, such as his grades perhaps? Testing? He’s in high school, of course he’s busy and wants to get in as much training time as possible. Seong doesn’t know anyone’s name, except for the jrs.
Don’t see why you get disappointed at me just because you were jealous of Kwan.
And do you expect all guild members to know your name? We don’t stay on every moment that every guild member is on in a desperate attempt to memorize 100 members’ names.
Oh, and Reckless would never break up. If the members quited, he’d put his schoolwork aside for a little while and recruit more people, many more.
