This is the story of a dark assassin, named Caedost. As his title suggests, he is a very skilled assassin, who does not pay much attention to morals, or to holiness. Some say he was a devil-spawn, others say he used to place trust in people, but no longer does so. The first is not true. Well, not yet. The second is true. He was betrayed by a close friend, and was almost killed. He closed his heart to all afterwards, and learned the art of the assassin to have his revenge on the traitor, with help from another friend. After doing so, the story spread like wildfire, and was hired for many assassinations, some evil, some good. The friend wanted to help Caedost, but Caedost told the friend that he had already closed off his heart for good, and would never trust anyone again. Although Caedost didn’t even trust his friend, he did not want harm to befall his friend. And so it was fortunate that he had the honor of killing their assassin, Dr. Naora. He was supposed to give surgery, but instead murdered his friend. Treating it with priority, he swiftly killed the doctor. He then saw a ghost of his friend, Jane Doe. He tried to talk to her, but she just kept saying “Dr. Naora”. Then he lost his temper, and released his dark arts into an attack on the building. The building was destroyed, and there was no rubble. He began to attack innocent people, and train others in the arcane arts. He trained 6 people, and in an attempt to test his own strength, He brought them to a boxing arena, at which he challenged them to a fight. They were all valiant fighters, but Caedost had become insane, and held nothing back, not afraid to exhaust his body of power through complex manipulation of darkness. He killed 5, and was exhausted as the last fighter casted a spell that exhausted the rest of his energy. The fighter knew he had not enough energy to kill Caedost, so he insted sealed him to the boxing arena room. Caedost found himself unable to escape the curse, so he made sure nobody would do something like this to him again. Dark minded people such as thieves that wished to become rogues, bandits, and even assassins came to him for training, but he never taught them how to master the arcane arts, until they were incredibly powerful. Since he was essentially the god of all the evil people, the tyrants, and tryanny in its purest essence, he called himself the “Dark Lord”.

Some background info:
Caedost comes from the latin word for “kill”
Jane Doe, and Dr. Naora came from the quest “Mystery of Naora Hospital”. The game says nothing about Dr. Naora killing Jane, but they don’t provide an explanation for her death either.
Sorry about some odd grammar in the beggining, I wanted to make sure nobody knew if it was a boy or girl (Caedost’s friend), so that it would be a surprise when the name was announced.
PS: Having written the history of grendel, dark lord, dances with balrog, and zakum, I plan on writing a history on athena pierce (bowman instructor), and perhaps more monster boss histories.
