As the days go by

I dunno, in light of everything that has happened thus far in my life (That incident on MS affecting me dramatically), I have decided to try my hand at a little poem. Hopefully, it is better than my skills at writing.

The clock hand ticks, second by second
I lie in my bed, waiting
In my mind, she beckons
I fly towards her, dreaming

Taking her hand, I close my eyes
I feel her soft skin, tender
Staring into her soul, limitless as the sky
I wonder if this really mattered

To her it might have, I do not know
Her words so caring, truthful
To me it did, this I do know
I hold her in my hands, careful

But it’s over now, I let her go
Into the arms of another, another
I lay on my bed, my depressiong grows
I think of her actions, traitor

Tears well up in my eyes
I try to hold them back, blinking
Sobs come out of my throat
Drowning like a ship, sinking

I am dieing on the inside
There is nothing to do now
I brace myself for the ride
And let myself go

I let myself go

PS: My poems suck.

Your poetry is as good, if not better, than your writing =P

  4. Wow it’s actually good. Well if this is good, then I wished my writing was better.

Eh, you’re writing’s bound to be good if it’s like this.
Just, give a “Check any materials over 100 degrees Farenheit before reading this, and set a timer” warning.

  6. Lol thanks guys, and I do have a series out right now, if you want to do some comparing. Thanks!
