It was a chilly morning on the day Barbod arrived to Ellinia with Ken. He studied the landscape of the green land that seemed to ascend forever. Staring blankly at the place, Barbod snapped out of his trance when Ken handed him a scroll of teleportation. “What in the name of -” was all Barbod said before Ken disappeared. Questioning his friend’s disappearance, he tried to think how to use the scroll. “Argh, next time he better tell me what to do.” Barbod exclaimed angrily. Accidently the scroll was ripped and instantly a humble town was his destination. “What took you?” asked Ken impatiently. Barbod replied he didn’t know how to use the scroll and his friend shook his head. “Whatever, let’s start heading towards that beast.”
After passing the dead mushrooms, some strange looking creatures with two legs, one eye, and a tail, and a few of what seemed like wingless dragons, they finally came to the sanctuary. The Crusader killed all of the beasts and passed all of the obstacles while Barbod followed. Finally, it was time.
Junior Balrog was standing, finishing his meal of a few human adventurers. Their bones were used to pick his teeth and the remains looked horrifying. Part of their flesh stayed on the hapless adventurers’ bodies while other bits of flesh were littered on the ground. An immense feeling of hatred filled Barbod’s body, soul, and mind. Before he did anything though, Ken charged and struck the beast. Black blood was squirting out and the Balrog roared in pain.
Just as Ken was about to strike again, Junior Balrog’s immense claw swiped at the Crusader, nearly killing him. Sipping a potion, Ken lunged at the Balrog again, and in turn the Balrog shot a fireball directly into the heart of his friend. Blood spurting from his throat and out of his mouth, Ken was smirking. His sword was pierced into the black hearted beast’s heart. Breathing his last, both the Crusader and the offspring of the Crimson Balrog faded away from the world together, leaving Barbod alone again. Rushing down to meet his friend, something touched his shoulder and he turned around to see a dark figure above him.
