He was sweating under the red hot sun and the burning lava buried under his feet. He had arrived at the volcano located in the middle of El Nath’s snowy landscapes.
But every minute he would clear off his sweat and continue his search for the Bain.
After a day or two, the hermit finally found the Bain after scaling about 500 feet of buried lava. He hid behind a rock, readied his steely and took a deep breath before jumping out from the rocks. It took a while
before the Bain realized its doom approaching, but it wasn’t at all frantic. As the hermit was about to launch his steely, another Bain bashed into the hermit and sent him thrashing into the ground.
Just then, two more bains appeared. The hermit had underestimated his opponent, and now in a huge disadvantage of one against four. He had failed in his mission. read more

Two Bains lunged at the hermit, jaws opened wide, showing their desperate thirst of food. Just then, two shining bright rays blasted the two bains and the hermit was saved. After the hermit’s vision had recovered from the ray, he saw an elegant
lady holding a staff facing down on him. It was his buddy from one year ago, when they were still beginners. The lady, now a priest, held out her hand to him, helping him get up. read more

A few days of training has passed and the two friends decided to move on to an island, an island huge and filled with stronger creatures.
Trees to trees they passed, finally reaching the little town of South Perry. The twosome have just booked their one-way tickets to Lith Harbor, in Victoria Island.
After a long wait, the two finally boarded the luxurious ship. It was a nice sight, the pool and all. But the buddies only have one thing in their minds-“to be the best Maplers they can!” read more

He was charging his way through, slashing the snails along the way. His target was the Orange Mushroom. With his sword clenched in his hand, he went headfront with the opponent. He was near! He raised his sword towards the blazing sun, attempting to slash the creature. But the Mushroom was too fast! It knocked him down hard. It was about to do its finishing strike on him. He realized he had been too careless, not analysing his opponent before going head-on. The Mushroom jumped, ready to drop onto its prey. But its attempt was interrupted by another Mapler, a fellow beginner, as she swung the creature away with her cub. The Mushroom, afraid and worn-out, retreated in defeat.
He and the fellow Mapler introduced each other and were friends on that very day. read more
