hello, first story. i’ve read some other peoples stories and enjoyed them so i want to give myself a shot at them. ( i hope the name hasn’t been taken)
Dawn’s light struck down, bursting through the trees of Ellinia and shone on Luke’s body. In his mind something was disturbing him, he slowly opened one eye and Immediately closed it as the sunlight shone his way. He stretched then taking a deep breath he opened both eyes and stared left of him of where there was an empty sleeping bag. Luke starred at it a bit more, his brain wasn’t awake just yet. Luke yawned and stood up, “camping” he thought “Such a annoyance when you could find a lovely comfortable hotel”. the noise of footsteps came into contact. “Im not going to listen to that outdoor loving hunter again”.
“Wake up Luke, its already eight in the morning”, A hunter kneeled down beside Luke as he put down a large sum of food on the camp floor.
“Already? what do you mean already? its eight in the MORNING”
“No need to shout, and besides i get up mostly and seven and earlier”
“You get weirdos in every class, which NORMAL person you know wakes up at seven?”
“Well, i had to go get breakfast didn’t I?”
“Enough of your lame excuses, how long did you take to get a apple, three bananas and a dead, raw pig”
“Can we please stop this and have breakfast?
“Yes, as in PROPER food” Luke takes out his racksack and takes out a few hot dogs and grape juice”
The two share the food and then set out moving again. Luke has a quick look round and picks up his Meba and a few sets of kumbi throwing stars.
“You know Gary how did your 2nd job advancement go? I thought you would fail first time”
“It isn’t very hard, just normal hunting i suppose with a cool reward”
“Hey you do know you suck right?”
“??????, shut brother, and what do you mean by that?”
“Well, we’ve been having adventures since i was a rogue and …
“You still are a rogue”
“Let me finish, you do one damage in one arrow and five hundred in the next”
“Higher than yours though, you always do one hundred and one hundred, no change whatsoever”
“AHEM, your saying 1 damage is better than two hundred”
The two continued their treck out of the forest’s of Ellinia and sat down on the green grasslands of Henesys.
“Don’t you just love the outdoors?” Gary sighed and got up again.
“Where are we going to? and is it any further than this?”
“Its weird your fit and healthy but hate exercise”
“No, its because your here to annoy me and kinda have to listen to you”
Gary snickers at being the older brother as the two once more started up thier trek, soon distance mountains came into view and mist clouds floated gently past. Suddenly without warning two arrows shot down both piercing Gary’s armour and embedding themselves into his shoulder. Gary fell down and rolled until a rock stopped him, blood ouzed from his wounds and he layed there moaning.
“Whos there” Luke’s eyes quickly searched the horizon spotting a few distanc shadows getting closer. He got out his weapons and hid behind a boulder listening, waiting.
