Ok, so I played MS again for a while. I noticed how I heard some strange, non-english language in the PQ the other day, example: wat trak? Let me call this short speak.
Now, don’t get me wrong, short speak can indeed be useful. The main (and only) advantage of it is: it’s short. So in hasty PQ ‘ZOMG BONUS!!!111!!!’ times, it can be pretty useful.
But apart from that, it makes no sense to use it. Ever. I think you guys probably are familiar with the ‘CC plz’ thing. This is a great example. It shows that the speaker in fact doesn’t care about anyone enough to enter 3 full words. Sometimes they even forget the plz…sigh, everyone is so rude these days.
What’s even worse: horny MS girls(or guys, you can and will never know) that use short speak. ‘U hav gf?’ This shows exactly how pathetic you are and how little you care about other people when you use short speak all the time. In fact, most of the short speakers start to yell at you when you don’t understand their too short abbreviations. The problem is: they yell in short speak. XD
And so, some of my PQ friends use short speak out of PQ as well. I think it’s stupid. The main cons of using short speak are:
1) You look pathetic.
2) You look like you don’t care about anything.
3) You look like an addict, as you are too busy with killing things to say more than 6 letters.
4) You look like you will never understand any language at all.

Tales of Destiny – Chapter 2 – Good Times with Mushies

There I am, back and full of inspiration. Toda, I made the job advancement to Cleric and I really like it. There was this one time when I was abusing Teleport and some level 13 girl thought I was very cool. XD I like it already…
Anyway, today I explored the Ant Tunnel some more. I went all the way to Dangerous Steam but I didn’t go further as I had to log off. I also went to Orbis just now, but I had to go back, as I couldn’t kill anything except Jr. Sentinels.
But the most outstanding was the Ant Tunnel, especially II and III. The Exp there is simply awesome and I even got an above average level 28 wand(I was wearing an average level 28 wand when I found it). Of course, I am still looking for a Jester and, of course, the Maple Lama staff. But this will do fine for now…
So I started my other character, it’s a level 15 Thief/Assassin. it’s a bit hard to level up with it, as the damage is ridiculously unstable. Fortunately there is Lucky Seven to help me out there. Btw, I bought a set of Kumbis for him so leveling will speed up a bit. Soon I’ll buy an Igor and a Meba for him too, and I will rule the PQ once again.
Anyway, apart from the Horny/Zombie Mushies, which don’t give that good Exp, I’m having a bit of trouble leveling. Maybe I’ll cheat a bit and still go PQ with some friends…after all, now that I got Teleport, I simply MUST solo the King Slime with it. It’s inevitable for any self-respected mage.
Btw, I never knew getting a Sauna Robe was THAT hard…ah well, it’ll work out and I only need it for 8 levels anyway… read more

Tales of Destiny – Chapter 1 – The Kerning Horror Story

Hi fellow bloggers, allow me to introduce myself. I am Kurt, IGN Angel667 and playing MapleStory. I am a level 29 Mage/ soon Cleric at the moment, and I am going to tell about my Kerning PQ experiences.

I started PQing at level 25. As I am a magician, I got into PQ’s pretty easily. As you guys might know, some leaders, no wait, most leaders are ignorant fools, who truly believe that they are better than everybody else, just because they have an autoclicker. Now I know what it is like to click all the time, I’ve done it a few times before. It ruins your wrists. But that’s not the thing. I don’t care whether people use an autoclicker or not ( I wouldn’t, but that’s just me ) , I only care about their attitude.
And that’s the part that’s even worse. Most of the times, when me and my party fail to get in or rush, who will be blamed? The tracker and the scout. Now, I know how an autoclicker works. You press a button, you get the mouse to the right position and you wait. That’s it.
A scout has to write about 20 names down and find out who that leader is where everybody is stacking on. Pretty hard.
A tracker has to spam Ctrl-V. Continuously, as the leader forces him to tell each stage, which is useless, as only Last Stage, Bonus and Exit are important.
When either of these fail, the leader will go yelling at everyone, mostly with Caps Lock on, and while he is yelling at them, he can’t autoclick and some other party gets in. So normally I leave then. read more
