So, it’s been a while. Hey to all the old people who may have a faint flickering of a memory of me. Hi to the new people. I’m not going to make an effort to get to know you, because quite frankly, I don’t visit often. Don’t judge me. D:
Lots of stuff has happened in the past few months, both Maple and Life related. Where do I start?
Oh yes. I finally got to level 81, and I’m more than halfway to 82. After being stuck at a stand-still at levels 77 and 78, it’s quite refreshing. I also managed to make it to 81 without spending much time at FoG. God, that place is impossible to find a spot at. Kudos to anyone that can hold a spot for more than 30 minutes without having it threatened (late-nighters, you don’t count ). But, I made 78-79 and 79-80 at my most *favorite* creatures in all of MS: those obnoxiously annoying, “I require a black onyx worth at least 25 gold pieces to create”, walking piles of dust. Or, Zombies to those who are D&D illiterate (which I’m assuming most of you are). On the bright side, I did finally make a fair amount of money. I won’t say how much, because undoubtedly someone will troll and comment about how “piddly” an amount it is.
I also finally got Eruption. Man, I love that skill almost as much as I like Blizzard. I think my dear guild leader’s comment describes it best:
“It looks like your arrows are shooting up from the bowels of hell. That’s so COOL.”
Plus, Eruption and Rain look really cool together. Too bad I don’t have a picture. I’ll have to bug Moon to get one next time we’re fighting something together.
I’ve also died several times in the past week or so. Once at Gatekeepers (“Oh, you can still kill me in one hit? Oops.", thrice at Vikings, and once at Ghost Pirates because I’m dumb and type when there’s a monster right next to me. One of the Viking deaths was practically intentional, though. I had just leveled, and the bottom was packed. I mean, almost every Viking on the map was on the bottom (no, no hacking required). Moon, being the person he is, dared me to go and clean out the bottom. I, being the incredibly intelligent and over-confident person that I am, thinking “Hey, I just got Eruption. I can do this!”, agreed. Let’s just say I didn’t kill a single one, and I only made it to the far right and halfway back. Those suckers hurt.
If you didn’t know, hasty karma balancing is a beautiful thing. Rams, Zyn, and I were on a DT map earlier today. Mind you, Zyn is only level 54, so that made for a comic picture (imagine an Ice Wizard and a Sniper protecting this little Crossbowman. He said it was safer there than at Zombies). Anyway, we had been there for a few hours, and who should come in but two of my most favorite people – SheepGIRL and SpawnxSin. Mind you, I don’t actually know these people in game. I only know that their megaphones are incredibly obnoxious and are about as intelligent as a jacked-up lemming. Well, we leave ’em alone for the most part. We took a few of their kills when they first got there, but then mostly avoided them. Spawn makes a few “ME FTW” comments, and taunts us a bit, but that’s about it. Then the good part happens. Rams and I are on the right side of the screen, about half-way down. I’d heard Spawn down on the bottom , and he had apparently tried to tackle more than he could handle. Shhh-plunk. Oh hey, is he floating in a circle? Now, being the good AoEers that we are, Rams and I aren’t going to miss a chance to get all those huggable bears grouped up so nicely. We jump down, Blizzarding and AEing. Oh, the beauty of a group of bears being ritualistically slaughtered is a wonderful sight to behold. Now, Spawn still hadn’t left the screen, and as he saw us killing the beasts that held the doom to 5% of his experience, I’m guessing he got a little upset.
“You weaklings can go back to FoG anytime now.”
To which I replied, “You can be nice next time and not try to take someone’s channel “
“Try? I succeeded you noob”
I later commented to Rams that for being “conquered”, our health was certainly very fine.
Oh, a question for all of you Poison-emphasis mages: Is it a required to be a complete jerkoff to be a poison mage? I’m just wondering.
In other news, I’ve started a cleric. It’s an interesting little class. She’s only level 40, but she’s a nice break from Ris sometimes. Granted, though, I don’t play her as often as I could because I’m actually motivated to level Ris now, but that’s another can of worms entirely.
Life news wise, oh em gee, I got a job. It’s only a summer job, and it ends in a couple of weeks, but it’s been interesting. I work as a kitchen assistant at a winery/catering place. I haven’t killed or given anyone food poisoning yet, so I must be doing something right. Though, I don’t see how the Sous and Executive Chef could do it for a living – faaaaaaaaar too much stress. But, if it makes ’em happy, what can you do?
Anyway, 4:30 in the morning and I need to get to bed. As usual, no refunds on lost/”wasted” time. Comments, flames, lawsuits, and play ramblings are accepted, though I only offer paper bags.

Should’ve stopped writing about an hour ago
P.S. I’m leaving you with an amusing photo I took a few months ago. Apparently someone doesn’t know math… (I had been spamming that I was buying tree branches for 20 mesos each)
It’s great to be high level isn’t it. I know that feeling better than all else.
@Eden: Annikabelle has a higher level character than you, and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t share accounts. >.>
I used to be friends with SheepGirl when she made an archer. Then we just kinda, meh. She’s ugly now. >.>
Bahhh. .
Bahhh. .”
Sheep boy, cut your jibber-jabber!
It’s Arc! *pounce*
O_o I never thought about Eruption that way. Does that mean Rain comes down from the HEAVENS? 8D
Cos like, I have Rain now. ^^

I was thinking the same thing, Silver. I mean, blue’s a heavenly color, a little like red’s a hellish color. So, yeah. It does!
Also, thanks for the picture of smexiness. *nodnod*
I think i’d be nicer if the arrow rain and rain eruption had a timer thingy like a detonator which you aim at a specific area,
let unleash a crash volley of rain to that area. . Like:
-10+ mobs of yetis chasing you-
*Use arrow rain*
-Target area by a crossfire icon (Use control buttons to set on a area, on screen)-
– 1-3 second casting time-
*A crazy hail of arrows rush from the sky* (Alike 5x of average arrow rain)
The disadvantage is if you have low hp. . .
Inserting stuff into eyeholes isn’t as glamorous as some people make it out to be, you know. And where would a cleric get so many intact bodies? Thanks for putting that bit in; it made me smile.
Welcome back to mmot (again).
