A time to be welcomed, and a time to leave…

I was welcomed to the World of MapleStory ,in May 19th.I have been playing this addictive game for..exactly 7 months . In this 7 months, I have learnt so much. I have been happy, I have been sad . It has prepared me for any obstacle I might face in real life, and I’d like to thank the creators of Maple Story for it . Perhaps its time for me to take my leave now… Perhaps its not .

I have been surprised everyday, not expecting anything like what had happened to happen . Being surprised is much more fun than seeing the same old stuff everyday . My first job, my second job, my third job advancement was done in both joy and in curses .[both Grendel’s curses and mine] Everytime I’m online I have been greeted by all of you . All of you are the reason I play MapleSory .

Some of the people who play MapleStory are simply people who want to win . Let me tell you this . Getting to the highest level does not mean you have won the game . Maple Story is a game in which you cannot win . No one can win in Maple Story except in a game of match cards or omok . There is only one way in which you can win . This is how .

You login everyday, greeted by smiley faces and : YO [insert name here] How ya been doin’? and you reply to your friends with great pleasure . Your friends play maple for exactly the same reason as you do; they play for you . Your friends pull you out of any difficulty you might face-I’m not talking about lending mesos or ks wars- I’m talking about somethings that happen in real life; perhaps someone you know moved away, or any other situations that are unpleasant . Happiness in the game makes you win everyday .

However, there are some people who think of the word ‘win’ in another way . Lets see what win means .

There is no first in Maple, except for the Levels which do not matter . Most people think indifferently .

They think that winning Maple Story means being the highest level . Do you think MrYaNdAo or Tiger has won Maple Story ? Does MrYaNdAo or Tiger think that they have won ? I’ll answer for them .

The answer is No .

You ask me how do I know . I’ll answer you .

If they have won, do you actually think they would continue training so hard . If they have won, wont they just hang around Maple and see things just once, with new eyes?

They know if they dont stop, there will be people, there will be competition . MapleStory does not only contain only a few people trying to get the highest level, there are many thousands.

Yes, many thousands . So many people share the same hope .

To rise among the rest, and to get to the top .

If that is your dream, please think again . If that is your goal, you must know,understand and accept how hard you must work . If that is your ambition, you have commited a life to training, and becoming what I call a levelling freak .

Please don’t . I have explained what is the real winning. I have warned you about the concequences . Whether you listen or not is your own choice . Good Luck .

Peer pressure can exist not only in real life, but in games too .

It depends on which group of people who you hang out with . You’ll be surprised how much control your friends have over you . Dont crap about how you have sooo much control over yourself . You don’t .

If you hang out with people who talk about hacking, guild or buddy list, they’ll keep talking about it till you think hacking is kinda cool . Sometimes you like those guys a lot, and you know that hacking is wrong . You tell them what you actually think about hacking, and they’ll go like, WHAT? YOU DON’T HACK? GAWDD YOU’RE SUCH A GODDAMN LOSER!!

Thats what they say . Some people believe in the phrase ‘If you cant kill them, join them’ . You try to ask them to quit hacking, but since you are surrounded by them, you listen to them banging on about it everyday, and get pressured about not being cool enough in their opinion, you learn how to hack .

You leave them . You get out of their sight .They get out of your sight . They have no right to manipulate you like that, to persuade you to hack . Theres almost no backing out once you hack . Sadly for you, the GMS do not believe in “That was last time, I dont hack now..” The solution may seem harsh, but its better than getting banned .

You are NOT the only one playing MapleStory . There are many[understatement] people playing MapleStory . Among them, there are numberless people who abuse, use vulgarities and generally become the scum of MapleStory . The second they open their mouths a stream of bad words come out . It isn’t pleasant, saying it does NOT make you feel cool . The people who hear you may feel angry, sad, bewildered at why are you saying it to them;or even scared . Those people should be removed . Immediately .

The bad part is, they spread like fire in a field on a windy day. You are angry, so you use those words back against them, you want to appear cool so you say them . You want to defend yourself, so you type those foul words and aim them at that person . Once you use it, only people with real backbone can actually stop . All of you have that determination and willpower . You can shield yourself from them . You can avoid them . The problem is Do you want to?

The choice lies with you .

Yes . These people . They started breeding when the Marriage System came out . They use megaphones and people start having those ridiculous ‘Matchmaking sessions’ where some… whatdjacallems.. .. H0rny people get together and start terrorising some people which just wanted to go there and see what it is . They say indecent stuff which makes you almost certainly scared and makes you feel like you want to run away . I hope you will . Getting away from them is the best solution . They cant be cured, so good luck trying to make them normal .

Thats all I wish to warn you about . Thats all I thought about throughout the 7 months . Its such a relief typing all of them out . Bottling them up has no use .

Now that I’ve finish boring all of you with the goody-goody stuff, I’d like to say I will still go on MapleSEA if possible . Let me say this .

AnnikabeLLe, AnnikabeiLe, Anniika, Anniikka [LOLS I just couldn’t help myself] are all my characters . Annikabeiie and Annikabelie are NOT repeat NOT my characters . Dont be fooled .

At exactly this time[12 midnight] tomorrow, I will be leaving Singapore . Of course I still want to play MapleSEA . If I can play, that is . I wanna fill MMOT up with my crap~~~~~ xDDDD

I dont want to go, not just yet . I dont want to leave all of you . I wont, unless you want me to.

All of you cheered me up when I was down, smiled, laughed, and generally helped me find the reason to go on living . Many people search for that reason . The reason to live . Its right here .
