As i look around mmotales, i guess i could say mip, jf and aaru are the “oldies” here ><
Not to sound offensive but yeah.
Soon, many other users join and to enlarge our mmotales community.
What i dislike is how people can brag just about anything.
“this guy hit on me, it’s sick!”
*sigh*, 2 guys hit on me each day when i use to play maple…
“Im like soooo popular” attitude.
I hate it. I hate it alot. Miss popular.
If you want to talk about popularity, don’t talk about it in front of my face or where i can see, because trust me. Im more popular. Im not trying to brag, but if I wanted to, i could.
People who brag are the newbies and the ones who seem to have very little people who liked it because nobody can stand all you people.
Blogs who say “i just joined, or hi”
These ARE NOT waste of space blogs because we as a community welcome them to join.
Alot of you may disagree with me, but that’s probably because you don’t know me. Some may agree.
Im pretty sure at least one of you will agree with me.
Also. Don’t brag about the cash shop.
So yes, say you got nx cash and your happy.
DON’T go around saying what you bought, what you got, and what you would like.
Im saying his not because i can’t afford the cash shop. (spent over $150 on the cash shop)
It’s dam annoying.
Please don’t write something at the end of your blog/stories like
“pl0x l34v3 c0mm3n7!!”
with those noob writing and crap.
The community was alot peaceful when the newbies havn’t joined. Ofcourse, by joining the mmotales community, you have enlarged it. Which im totally happy with. I love having new people, enjoying themselves.
Finding mmotales as a site which they could express themselves.
Everyone here has a talent. Writing, Drawing, Comics, Videos and Poems.
Not everyone should rush for Writing. Lots of other things you can get famous for.
I never stereotype, and neither does alot of the mmotales people here.
Don’t be shy okiez?
Never be scared to flame/criticize a “famous” author as flaming/critizing is the first step to success.
Alrighty, I’ll catch ya’ll l8rs ><
awww, thats just a nice blogXD
I totally agree with everything you say here ^^

=o Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yeah, bragging gets really annoying at times,
Time to play devil’s advocate. Man, I swear I’m just feeling trigger-happy right now. *cracks fingers*
Number one.
People have the right to complain about how they have been harrassed on MS if they want. So what if they’re all complaining about people hit on them? It’s the truth. It happens. And it happens to a lot of people. Some feel better for sharing it, would you deny them that? They just post blogs to say how they feel about the matter and to see if people agree. Admittedly, when someone hits on me, I feel angry. I feel frustrated. Some people find an outlet for it in blogs.
Number two.
. . .you are stating that you don’t want people to brag about popularity to your face because . . . you are more popular. In your own words. So . . . you do not want people to threaten or question your self-assured popularity? Because that is what it sounds like to me. And braggers are not newbies, they are noobs. They earn the right to be newbies by not acting like . . . juvenile brats who claim they are so much more popular than everyone else.
Number three.
People say what they got in the Cash Shop. Again: these people are expressing their opinions and emotions on the matter. I know that if my mother would allow me to buy CS stuff I would be thrilled. Over the moon. Probably write a huge rant about how I bought this and that and terrorized people all over Vic Island with my new rags. So people want to share their happiness; would you deny them that? If people express a desire for something within reason, would you deny them the ability to express that desire?
Number four.
I see a huge contradiction here. =S On one hand, you’re saying it was peaceful before the newbies joined, which implies it was better then without the newbs. But you are also saying that you like new people, enjoying themselves. If people are enjoying themselves by saying what CS stuff they got, why complain then?
Number five.
I never stereotype, and neither does alot of the mmotales people here.
. . . again, if someone is happy, enjoying writing their stories, why try to distract them from it? Let them do as they will. You are subtly stereotyping in this statement, by saying that most people rush for writing. And you are wrong. We all stereotype. We do it subconsciously due to our upbringing and the messages rammed into us since we have been young. WE ALL STEREOTYPE. We may try to prevent ourselves, as hard as we can, but once in a while it will slip through and we are all human.
Also, you’re sending the message that all people are trying to get famous in MMOTales. Some are. Some aren’t. Some of us actually DO do it for our own self-gratification, but we are all selfish beings and therefore we are all happy to see an extra thumbs-up on a blog we worked on for a long time.
I am really feeling in a ranty mood right now.
Very nicely said, Des. I couldn’t agree more. I only have one thing to add to that. You, angelwitwing, said, and I quote:
“Please don’t write something at the end of your blog/stories like
“pl0x l34v3 c0mm3n7!”
with those noob writing and crap.” Then, you contradicted yourself with: “Alrighty, I’ll catch ya’ll l8rs ><” at the end of YOUR blog. So, l8rs isn’t noob writing? Because from here, it sure as hell looks like it.
*cheers for Indescane* I would like this blog just to give props to that comment, but, oh, if it makes Ms Popular here even more Popular. . . Nah.
