(from previous chapter)
Jake, please proceed to Magic Academy on the next ship tomorrow morning, something bad has happened.
We both looked at head other, Really, I was more worried than him.
“Want to come with me, or you want to stay here?” He asked, “it’s safer to stay here” He added
“Don’t think you can ditch me!” I pinched his nose “I’m definitely going with you” I smiled.

“We’ll have to hurry!” Jake said with no patience in his voice.
“YaYa~ hun, I know!! I know!!” I answered from the other room whilst trying to close the suitcase.

Then there was a moment of silence from both of us…
Jake walked in my room.
“Did you just call me…-” I put my finger on his lips to shut him up, then slowly, replaced my finger with my lips, closed my eyes, and kissed him… It seemed like minutes, but after awhile, I opened my eyes and he slowly, he lifted his eyelids.

“W-woahh…” He stuttered, “Let’s do that again!”
I laughed and we kissed again, this time, he put his arms around my waist, and when we opened our eyes at the same time, he whispered the three words that I wanted to hear, the three words that I’ve been wanting to say to him.

I love you…
I could only smile and replied, “I love you too…”

Then we saw the eagle, the owl, what ever it was, the same creature that we met the other day, dropping off another letter…

Please Hurry…The Dark Lord has brought his Gang and invaded the Magic Academy!! We need your help if we ever want hope for the Academy!

Quickly, Jake grabbed my hands and then we teleported all the way to Ellinia, which through teleporting, trust me, it wasn’t that far. We raced to meet Grendal,
“Father, what is the problem?” Jake asked with a worried look, but this “Grendal” didn’t move, didn’t even blink.

“Father?” Jake walked up and tried to place a hand on his father, but his hand went straight through.
“What the…?!?” he had a strange look, “it’s a hologram! We’ve been tricked!”
I was shocked, “How can that b-” then a hand reached over my mouth, this time, I wasn’t going to let it get me to easily, I bit the hand, and yelled “JAKE HELP!!!!” I tried to retrieve my wooden stick or wand or what ever! I tried to concentrate … A surge of energy came from within me, and I pushed the person holding me down, and casted energy bolt onto him, but only to make him blink, it hardly scratched him at all!
Jake came running towards me, whilst clasping his hands together, and slowly, each hand was repelling the other as the beautiful and magnificent thorn was appearing again. He grabbed it with one hand, stood sideways, and pointed the powerfully beautiful thorn at that person, chanting, and mumbling under his breath something I could hear, and the amazing bolt of energy made that person fly far away.

I ran to Jake tears sliding down my cheeks, but before I made it, something from above swooped down and grabbed me. It was the Dark Lord. Jake was about to Aim at the Dark Lord until the Dark Lord held out his hand.

“Jake, I’m sure you don’t want to do that,” He held out his hand, and a hologram appeared again “Here are your family, and they are in a magic proof room.”

I could feel and tell that Jake was boiling with anger “What do you want!!!?” He yelled clenching his fist
“Ohh, first, put that staff down” The Dark Lord smirked, “Off you go~ put that staff DOWN” Barked the Dark Lord.

Jake Obeyed the Dark Lord and put the staff down, “Now, let me and the girl leave peacefully, and you can have your family returned to you”
“NO! Let go on Sasha!!!!!!” Jake went on his knees “… I beg you…”

“WAHAHAHAHAHAHA, JAKE? BEGGING ME FOR A GIRL?!?! AHAHAHHA too good to be true!!” The Dark Lord roared with laughter, “Family or the girl, choose…and choose wisely”

I couldn’t just watch hopelessly, I cried “Don’t worry about me! I’ll be alright! I promise! Please, save your family!!” I bit my lips to prevent myself from crying, I tried to be brave.

“I’m sorry Sasha… ok Dark Lord, take ME instead of her!” Jake said
“No deal, time’s running out!! You either get one or the other, otherwise, you get none!” The Dark Lord had a huge smirk across his face.

“Please, take me and free his family” I said quietly under y breath to the Dark Lord
“Fair enough, alright Jakey Wakey, the girl’s made her decision, we must depart” The Dark Lord grabbed me by the hand and jumped away.

I turned around and mouthed the words

“I’m sorry…”
