That Girl. Part l <3

A group of friend’s, not particularly close friend’s, but still considered each other as buddies, sat on a platform huddled around a fire at zombies. Soon, as the El Nath night began to darken, one by one they started drifting home, until there were 2 people remaining.

” Can you believe how cold it is? ” Chris asked shivering slightly, his voice trembled as his body shook with the evening’s chill.

His companion just nodded, trying to pull himself into a tighter ball to keep all the warmth he can hold onto & keep his gloveless fingers from freezing.

Shortly after, just as Chris was about to stand up, a small magic spell, that made a slight murmur in the wind, caused him to look up. His friend had gone, used a town scroll and went to the safety and heat of his own home. Chris finallly stood up and grinned, and a second later … he sat back down. Playing this dumb game on who can stay up the latest was so stupid.

” Holyy Moses ” he moaned. His legs were too weak. ” Next time, I am at least going to walk around this incredibly small platform, even if it means trampling somebody. ”

-CRACK-

Chris looked up, as a form began to become solid, he rolled quickly to the side. ” How can anybody be awake at THIS time of day, ” he thought grimly. He got his answer soon enough. As a tousled head became solid, as the rest of her body did, it quickly dropped down, and slipped on the patch of ice the fire had made.

“OOF!” The scream was muffled, but Chris wasn’t sure who’s voice it was, his or the strangers? As the bottom of the figure connected with this stomach, it felt like somebody decided to drop an elephant on him.

” I am so sorry! ” Some voice was babbling, Chris shook his head and his vision slowly focused. A girl with long blond hair bent over him, while nervously petting her panda at the same time. ” I didn’t know that anybody would be awake, and I’m just going through all the channels really fast ’cause I was scared and I didn’t know how to get back because my town scrolls ran out & I guess I just lost control on that last CC. ” The girl drew a deep breath as she finished explaining. She smiled down nervously at Chris.

Their Thoughts RIGHT THEN.

Chris : How the heck does she talk so fast without running our of air.
Girl : I hope he’s not going to report me.
Chris : Dam I’m cold.

Chris got up slowly & removed several town scrolls from his Use & dropped them into the girl’s lap. “S’okay,” he said abruptly to the girl & with a few spells, he transported himself back to town.

The girl, looked down at her lap and thought, ” Wow, nice person. ” & hugged your Panda, Jelly, closer to her & read the spells on the TScroll, and was dropped at the center of the familiar Town. ” Time to go home, ” she thought. As the girl looked around her, the shadows grew darker & threatening. Within seconds, the girl had teleported home, carrying Jelly and slammed the bolt on the house door.

As the wind howled outside that night, neither of them thought about the each other. Why would you? You would meet a lot of people around Maple, but only some that are meant to be considered friends.

Little as they know, soon they were going to be a LOT more than ‘just friend’s.’ <3

[Author’s Note] I know I haven’t said ‘The Girl’s’ name, but that all comes later in the next chapter, and every confusing thing I’ve wrote here will be explained when I write more (that is if people likes this blog) <33 Just tell me how it is, I’m new so I need to see if I’m going in the right direction to writing stories or just going downhill from the start. ^_< Thanks <3
