This is probably MMO Tales’ most longest blog ever made! I’m sure you heard plenty of that already, but this time I mean it. Read it all or not, the choice is yours! But at least come in to view all the screenies to get a taste of how my past happenings have been! *cheesy grin*

Hi hi duckies!! Yep, it’s me Aliyah Royal with some more maple happenings! Awkhays [*cough*Livi*cough*Persian*cough*], haha. Sorry about that! Inside joke ^^;

First off! I noticed that there’s a whole bunch of new MMO Talers and I wanted to say: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Welcome to MMO Tales! The name’s Aliyah and I hope you guys like it here on MMO Tales and make some pretty awesome friends. Looking forward to reading all those blogs x) Oh yesh! You should also follow the rules or you’ll be reminded by T3H W4FFl3! [Dammit, this blog’s so old. This was back when Waffie was still here T_T]

Let’s begin shall we! Well, my blog is over a period of many, many, MANY days. This blog contains information from at least a month ago or two ago. [This blog was supposed to be released January 21st, so heh.] And I finally got around to writing about it. Heh, long time no see? I guess I got kind of lazy. Well! 1. Orbis Exchange Quest[/h]

Well, as most of you know, I started a warrior on Scania, itsAliyah, and I’ve managed to level her from level 11 all the way to 23, courtesy of the Orbis Exchange Quest. =] My friend Nevin, S0wat kept giving me his sun and moon pieces from the pixies and so I thank him loaaaads for that. He provided me with well over 5000 of them. I know, incredible eh? *_* While I was at Orbis, guess who came to visit?

2. xXVEGGIEXx! Also known as Max [/h]

Yuup! It was my first time meeting him on Maple and it was so much fun. I believe that I was going back and forth from Cloud map six, looting Luster Pixie drops from S0wat, aka Nevin x) and all of a sudden I see a cute little newb run my way and nearly get pwned by the crazy pixie, but his amazing jumping skills saved him. I was in awe and quickly found out that it was MAX! Max is definitely the awesomest brother ever. A little fact: Both my brothers on maple are named Max! How coincidental? Kratos99 and xXVEGGIEXx. Love you both! Mm, yesh. I think Omer and David was there too and we had a great time together; I don’t believe Max got much experience [sorry about that ^^] but I had a grand time

3. Waffle, Max, and I[/h]

Some adorable duckies that came to visit me while I was in Orbis were Waffle and Veggie So, I bombed over to El Nath with Waffie and we were totally surprised when we saw a talking tree. LOL! Crazy little Max had gone on his other account and was waiting for us stealthily behind the tree. It was crazily fun and the two of us saw Waffle head off. [read about his adventure here: link ] After slipping and sliding around El Nath a bit, I had to leave since it was getting pretty late.

4. Starsailors![/h]


[Please take note that I wrote this about 2 months ago! Some stuff has definitely changed as you’ll find out soon enough x)]

Yep yep! The Starsailors [sister’s friend’s guild]. We trained a bit and finished Nanuke’s seal meat quest quite easily with the help of Nevin *cough*hacker*cough*. No just kidding, he’s not a hacker. . I think? He levels awfully fast however. Hmmmz. Well, this can be discussed later! After falling down the Orbis tower, crazy AJ, (dr43vl of Starsailors) decided that he wanted to go back UP the Orbis Tower to meet his friend. So, in haste we all go back up the tower—expecting to see his amazing lovely—but she doesn’t log on until at least an hour later. o_o Oh well, my friend Naty came to visit me x). After running around a whole bunch AJ’s lovely Lisa signs on and we decided to go pwn the Lucidas. ^^;

Yay! So I finally get to see this pixelated amazingness of England again since like Winter Break! I jump down the Orbis Tower and head over to Aquarium. And as soon as I get there, my mom calls me and so I have to leave to go attend other matters. Darn it! D

So, guess what happens in Aqua after everyone leaves and I come back from being away from keys?

5. GM GM OMG! Did I say…GM? x)[/h]

Yup, this lovely GM appeared! It started with the MyBFF guild meet! Everyone from the guild, it seemed like was everywhere. It was crazy! And kind of exciting. Suuushi was there too. I swam down by her and she smiled, and was like, “Aww! Twins!” at me. I would have taken a screenie, but all of a sudden a rush of people surrounded us and spammed random crap that I couldn’t even scroll up in the message bar to show it to you. But you all can just take my word for it. Anyway, I didn’t understand why there were so many people all of a sudden! I looked around and I saw Tiger standing there amidst the crowd with his. . .ahem . . .lovely girlfriend, kittyz0r. Could they be the attraction?

Looking around cautiously, I notice a whole mass of people swimming upwards screaming. “GM! GM!” Immediately, I sped upwards looking around for the trademarked golden GM sign. Not being able to see it, I thought it was just a bluff of some sort. Maybe a misconception?

Then all of a sudden—the sweet azul colored letters. The GM was here! Looking around frantically, I still see no sign of this “KahluaNMilk”. But she talked plenty! Finally I spot her and realize that she was hiding her GM sign all along! It was pretty crazy! *nods* She was just sitting there talking with us and answering our questions. X) Sadly, she had to leave a little later, but she was very nice

6. Guild Hairdos[/h]

So, basically I stayed in Orbis for a while, and among the visitors was the great Sholdy, also known as Omer. You guys should be familiar with his name by now Oh, and he’s level 83 now! [83?! OMG! This was like so long ago D:] Yay Omer! So Omer and I hung out and chatted like always and we had an awesome time. Ooh yes! That reminds me, Omer got a new haircut! That’s mainly why we were in Orbis. I forgot to mention that I went back to Victoria by then and THEN came back to Orbis to watch Omer get his hair done.

Why Orbis? To get the metrosexual hair of course! Yes, he did it to match me and now we’re just about the cutest duckies ever! Side note: Fushi got her hair done as well! Woot! Red Angelica FTW! And so did Wasabi, Telekillz. He got the antagonist in black. Hey, it’s nice to help the friends out sometimes .

7. Omer and I[/h]

—This is where I actually stopped writing way back then, so. I’ll have to try to do it from memory here. 3 months is quite a LONG time to blog about…Here I go!—

So after Omer [and the rest of the gang that were at Victoria Island still] got his hair done, we decided to hang out since I was going to log off soon anyway. Note that when I mean hang out, I literally mean it. Not some random “what %?” chatting amidst our training—but more like just chasing each other, bashing each other, and having pointless but memorable conversations.

8. GMs in SCANIA [old stuff, I know! >>;;]

This, I have no idea why I put in three months ago in the first place. I think—oh yeah! You see, Scania barely had GMs online banning people. While I was in Ludibrium’s famous Eos Tower, on the 101st floor, I believe that was the first day that the GMs started banning hackers in Maplestory Global Scania. Everyone went crazy. Everyone’s “J>PQ! Level 47 Sin ~ Throwing Tobis! @@@” Immediately ceased and they were all in awe of the sweet blue words of the GM. It was kind of exciting at first. I took screenies of like the first 22 hackers, but then it got kind of regular after that so I gave up screen-shotting.

All my life I’ve only seen a GM banning [as in the whole: “ [Notice] fpooned has been banned for being a newb – AliyahGM” XD] in a screenshot of some other person, highly praised and showed off on sites like BasilMarket. So, you can just imagine the joy I felt when I saw all of these bannings and I eagerly screenied the first 22 lists. Ahahaa, yeah. I think I wanted to post them on here, but really now. There’s no point of seeing them, so you’ll just have to do without it =]

9. Level 46[/h]

Pretty self explanatory. I was training at Florina Beach when I leveled. It was awesome, and I became even more powerful [I think I like power LEVEL UP!

10. Ludi PQing[/h]

The usual Ludibrium PQ banter. The waiting part of the PQ I personally think is the most funnest, because it’s just how I am. I love sitting around and talking with people and doing absolutely nothing. I cannot keep myself training for more than 20-30 minutes—tops.

• Umm yeah. Training bores me x) ~I like poking fun with the monsters and mobbing them up and stuff. It’s funstuff.~

I also made quite a few friends in this manner that have become some of my amazingest ones ever. =) Besides the waiting part, I also like the whole Alishar battle. I remember when I first PQed at level 35, I was so nervous that I didn’t have magic guard on at all and it was deathly frightening. I solely depended on Matt’s [Shredder101] hyper body. And every second of my battle, I was either stunned/cursed in some way or another or I would be more than ½ dead. D: Chyeah. Noob status FTW

But more recently, I know what’s up and what to do, you know? It’s rather lovely being a cleric. All you do is say “Level 4x Cleric, joining your parties =]” a couple of times and BAMMO! You’re in.

This one time, I was in a party with all these nooblets, I swear. I don’t think they even knew what they were doing! I had to tell them everything, and it was just ridiculous. They literally sat around and chatted the ENTIRE time! I fought all the stupid bloctopuses, and the deformed rombots, andandand told them the combinations and UGH! I even had to solo the flippin` Alishar. It took like 25 minutes, I swear. Cost me helluvalot of pots and I had to keep dropping Holy Water for the crazy PQ members that screamed at me to spam heal in between their jabbering of “pie iz gud n so iz chikn @@”. Sigh

11. My male half Opulence![/h]

Also, while I was in Ludibrium, I met my male twin! Haha, his name is Josh, better known as Opulence [level 97 at the time] and we quickly became friends. Why do I call him my male twin you wonder? Well, he had exactly the same hat as me, shoes and his husky wore the same red fuzzy coat as mine did. We also looked alike because of his metro hair. At first glance, we could have been mistaken for another, if it wasn’t for his darker toned skin. [TWINNIE SCREENIE LACKING D:] We randomly started talking and poked fun at how silly we must look to the random passerby and before we knew it, we were adding each other on the buddy lists.

Josh is just the greatest guy to talk to when you’re bored. He’s always chilling somewhere between Ludibrium and Aqua and whenever we’re near each other, we have this silent tradition where we stalk each other and yell each other’s names in each other’s faces. He’s just too funny.

He’s great to talk to for other random things to such as physics homework! Yay! He’s so good at explaining things—oh yea, he doesn’t help me with homework over Maplestory by the way. LOL! I have him on MSN and Facebook, so yeah. It helps. And plus he’s 20 years old now, so he’s shmart! *nods*

12. Bera!- Zombie Mushmom[/h]

Well, now that I’ve met Max, he’d convinced me to make a Beran character! Now, Bera compared to Scania isn’t all that different. Well, I s’pose the people are a bit more timid and aware of not presenting themselves as noobies, and it lacks the occasional lag that you learn to cherish and expect from Scania [just keeeding XD], but it seems more desolate to me somehow. I like running around on a crowded map, hopping around [hasted is preferred] with that cheesy smile and yelling “HEYYA!” whenever someone smiles back at me. This seemed a bit hard to do in Bera, but it could have just been that I was logged in during the time in which less people log on. *shrugs* It was like around…9:30PM I think. Heh.

Anyway! I logged onto VeggieFTW and quickly went over to meet Max and a few other MMO Talers, Ezyan, Ganzicus, and DaMunky89. They wanted to check out the newly released Zombie Mushmom and I decided to tag along. I must have been the first legit level 9 beginner to make it to the Zombie Mushmom, of course it helped that Max was a cleric It was a rough journey but I managed to stay alive mainly because I’m used to dodging attacks from being on my low HP-ed Cleric for so long and Max’s amazing heal that left me feeling so flippin’ alive.

Overall, I had a blast even though I did die towards the end. Stupid zombie mushies just kept jumping into me. Those creeps. -.-

Ganzo had to log off shortly after, but we were joined by another MMO Taler, duzzt. Duzzt went on ahead with Alina while Max accompanied me to keep me alive. The process was slow but definitely worth it.

Oh yeah! And SNEHAAAA! [Gujju], we heck of thought you randomly bounded in among us. But then we realized that you were a mage and would have recognized us when we called your name instead of staring at us blankly and bounding away. Wannabe Gujju =]

We went again a second time because Duzzt and Max wanted to be the ones to kill it. Unfortunately, Alina and Zacky had to leave this time around [missed you duckies!]. I died again, but this time from the Zombie Mushmom spawning on me. I took a pretty hard hit and flew backwards behind the branch that I died at last. D: But oh wells. x)

13. UndiePatrol

UndiePatrol.Tk If you didn’t know so already, learn now. I’m just an UndiePatrol fanatic. XD I don’t know what it is about them that appeals to me so much, what it is about that draws me towards them. It’s an unknown force, I tell you. They’re just my Maple dream guild. And I love them so flippin` much Ever since I’ve become aware of their existence, I loved them, admired them, wanted to be like them.

As my character grew stronger in levels, the more I thought about applying [forms available on the website—must meet the strict requirements ^^] to join the guild. I was around level 40, with no real guild as to call my home. After I left PorchMONKEYS, I’ve just been guild hopping and I was getting very agitated. Some guilds I’d get kicked out of while others I was forced to leave.

But then one day, I was invited to join EternalAngel by Andrew [ThelastCor] while I accompanied him and another fellow EA member, Fushi to go beat up the mushmom. I remember thinking, “Hey, what the heck? Just give it a try and apply to Undie later.” Little did I know that joining that guild changed my entire maple life forever. Never before have had I felt such a belonging, so safe and content. It was amazing. I was just swept off my feet by the whole magnetic affect the guild had on me. I was in love babies. Yep, I was in love with my guild.

Shortly after, I met Ryan [Witarded] while I awaited to get into the Ludibrium PQ. I don’t know what the heck a 10x White Knight was doing there, but the fact that he was from UndiePatrol erased away all my questions.

Memories came flooding back. Oh how I wanted to join this guild in the past. I’d completely forgotten my dream. Before I knew it, Ryan and I were talking like crazy. We ended up buddying each other and became really good friends. I even have him on MSN now, but that’s besides the point. Anyway, a couple weeks later, he came to stalk me in the Freemarket and we talked as usual. Then, he asked the question.

“`Liyaaaaah! I think you should join UndiePatrol, join us please?”

Th-Thump.
Th-Thump.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. My heart literally froze. I didn’t even have to apply?! I was being recruited, going to be recruited, longed to be recruited…but then why was I hesitating? Why was I about to let my dream slip through my fingers like sand?

And then I realized that I couldn’t. No matter what, my priorities and love for EternalAngel had grown too strong and it overpowered my will to join UndiePatrol, a guild that I had envisioned myself in for as long as I can remember. Call me pathetic but I couldn’t leave EA. It felt like running through an obstacle course and just as you are about to cross through the finish line, you remember that you forgot something so you had to turn back; it was meeting like meeting my dream face to face and then forcing myself to turn away—stupid morals.

I admit I was mad at myself for letting something like this slip away from my grasp, but meeting up with the EA members later on during that day reminded me that I made the right decision. I realized that I may have accomplished my goal by joining UndiePatrol, but I may have not been as happy as I was EternalAngel. Goshes, I love you guys so much! ♥ *huggles everyone*

However, I still admire the Undies more than anything—guild wise. And I love screening any UndiePatrol-er that I come across. Here’s a few

14. n00bz r’ us! [/h]

Livi [Olevize~ seen here as itsLiviadia] and I decided to train our newbie characters when the boys[1] came to visit We didn’t get too much training done with them sucking out all the experience, but I managed a couple of percents! ^^

15. S’more Bera-ness[/h]

Another Beran adventure with the one and only VEGGIEH! [aka MAX!] So, we sat around a while after we logged in, contemplating what to do. We decide upon going to meet the Jr. Balrog deep within the Sleepywood dungeons at the Cursed Sanctuary. Of course, once again, I was solely dependant on Max’s healing abilities. I felt kind of bad for depending on him, but he assured me it was fine and it was his pleasure to do so, so we continued on our way.

It sucked that we didn’t make it all the way because the stupid white worms kept spawning everywhere and knocked me around. After I died, I had to log off but it was amazingly fun while it lasted x)

16. Ezyan’s Wedding! aka Alina[/h]

ALINA! You didn’t think I’d forget to include your wedding did you? Well, of course not. As most of you know, Alina, or Ezyan, got married to Staverius a while back. It was tremendous fun at the wedding and I’d say it was soo good and well done for a non-NXed wedding.

*readers skip ahead and look at the screenies* B-b-but Stav is a GIRL!

What’s wrong with that?! This was already discussed back when the wedding actually happened so, find the forum or something x) Anywayyy! As I was saying, it was held at the Orbis Guild place and it was super fun. Alina even had bridesmaids that used the petal monster droppings that the green tadpoley-fat-lipped-thing in Aqua dropped as flowers to sprinkle across the path way as Stav and Alina walked, side-by-side. It was so well planned out and THANKS SO MUCH FOR INVITING ME ALINA!

Check out the screenies! You’ll find that a LOT of us MMOers attended. Also, the wedding took place on the same day as ALLEY’S [Ladyfriend] BIRTHDAY! It was like two parties in one You’ll probably see the Ninja claiming his undying love for Alley [awwwwwwwww XD] and me looking like a n00b in my banner thing. I’m sorry, I had no room on the banner to spell out everything correctly! Gosh.

17. New Friends! [Zack, Oska, Chris, Farid] & the Old [Jeremy] [/h]

SparkiDit, aka Zack [level 5x Cleric]. Awesome, awesome, awesome. He’s also one of the GREAT friends I made while I awaited happily to get into the Ludibrium PQ. He’s so fun to talk with and it’s like luck floats all around him. He gets drops as easy as that! *snaps fingers*

One time, he and I were training at the Platoon Chronos for about 25 minutes. Got it? Twenty-five minutes, and he already found 2 ester shields [both below average, but STILL!] and a mage overall—starlight I believe. I was amazed. He told me that it was just how it always has been for him. Bwahahaa, yep, so he’s definitely one of my favorite people to go training with.

He also got married! To the one and only LEEN [Yidra]! insanedesi] attended as well.

IEatTiger , aka Oska [level 8x Dragon Knight]! We meant on BasilMarket, believe it or not. I was arguing something and he backed me up and then we got around to talking to just each other. One day he randomly decided to stalk me on Scania and to the buddylist he went! Also, seeing as he was guildless, he became a member of EternalAngel. He stayed with us for quite awhile and the next time I saw him, he’d left the guild. >_

werscookie aka Chris [level 10x White Knight]. This mister is just PWNAGE! Like seriously. *nods* He’s this level 95 White Knight [at the time] and we met quite unexpectedly at Ludibrium. I was sitting around waiting for one of my friends to log on when this crazy dude ran around in front of me with the F5 face. I smiled back at him, regardless of the fact that he was now swinging his huge axe at me over and over again. It hurt, so bad. NOT! I’m IMMORTAL! MUAHAHAA—erm. No. O_O Anyway. I decided that he was getting annoying so I quickly teleported away and sat down somewhere else, only to have him follow. Sigh, stupid noobs. I bust out my red-whip and smack him around a bit and down he fell with a crying face. Bhwahaa.

Yep. That’s our first meeting. Memorable, no? *rolls eyes* But we started talking more and more after we practically saw each other in Ludibrium everyday and on the buddylist he went as well! =]

Blahbo1 aka Jeremy! This guy is simply amazing to the max. He’s the PorchMONKEYS guild leader—a guild I was very fond of until many catastrophes occurred, and I was forced to leave. One of the reasons, as many of you know from my previous blog on the Monkeys, that I left Monkeys was that Jeremy had quit.

Well, he came back. And the day I spent with him was filled with the memories that I thought I had left behind when I quit. But I guess they’ll live and thrive in me forever. Meeting him again was both exciting and awkward at the same time. I thought he was gone, long gone—almost viewed as dead. But here he was! Bahahaha. WELCOME BACK JEREMY!

EternalAngel and Starsailors are now, hereby and forever ALLIGNED [well, we’d like to hope so x)]! Yep, yep. It was I that suggested this alliance. After all, we spent so much time with each other. Livi was in Starsailors and her warrior in EternalAngel, so we were friendly with each other to begin with. Andrew [Eternal leader] and Alex [staralex1~Sailor leader] buddied each other and the deal was signed at Free Market, Channel 18.

Andrew Pengelly. This kid is AMAZING! Like super, duperrrr, none-stop, flashy, smiley, bouncey, everything totally happy. You guys know him as ThelastCor or Cor, but I know him as Andrew. Drew. Drewbutt. Drewaii. Drewy. Anderreeww. Drewlala. Typo King. British Mister. My duckie.

He’s the whole deal—funny, smooth, hilarious, sarcastic, spazzastic, friendly, loyal, trustworthy—he’s just perfect in his whole pixilated demeanor. Well, maybe for the fact that he CANNOT give advice. Well, even if he did, it isn’t the most helpful. For example:

February 12, 2007. Andrew took me to Amoria and on top the clouded platforms, he proposed to me. But I got the message x)

• And then he had to go. D: ~ stupid time difference!

Logging onto Maple, he’s always the first one to greet me and the last one to say goodbye. I thank him for everything. For the love, the support and obviously the guild invite way back then that acted as a catalyst for everything that was to come. Thank you once again, for giving me all that you’ve given me. I couldn’t have made it through without you, or the guild.

As a matter of fact, I think if he hadn’t invited me to the guild all those days ago, I most likely would have quit Maplestory as soon as the PorchMONKEYS guild broke loose. I remember gaining some comfort from being invited to RamenNinjas by Aaron, but it was not the same. Something was definitely lacking and Maple did not seem worth it anymore. And plus MMO Tales was suffering some sort of turmoil at the time as well and it just added onto the reasons for me to quit.

I remember James [MasterCheeze] asking me the other day, “Aliyah, what would you do id EternalAngel disbanded?”

I didn’t even have to think twice. “I’d quit.”

But that’s not necessarily true, I would quit eventually, yes. But not before saying bye to all my friends that I’ve met and not before knowing for sure that I have some way to contact them outside of Maplestory.
